We rode Jbus from Inari to Nuorgam holday village and the bus stopped right at reception. We stayed two nights in a comfortable self catering apartment and paid for a delicious buffet breakfast. As we didn't have a car we arranged with Raimo to take us us for a day trip into Norway reaching Varanger bay. Thoroughly enjoyable.

wir hatten leider nur eine Nacht, aber hier kann man es länger aushalten, wir hatten Haus Nr. 14 mit Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer, Küche, grosses Bad mit Sauna, gemütlich eingerichtet, da das Restaurant noch zu war, bekamen wir einen Frühstückskorb, von dem auch 4 Personen satt geworden wären, tolles Auswahl und Qualität, incl. Filterkaffee (Maschine vorhanden) das Zimmer hatte Aussicht auf den Grenzfluss, war Bestandteil eines Campingplatzes, die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und freundlich.

Man hat das Gefühl, bei einer Familie und nicht in einem Hotel zu Gast zu sein! Alle arbeiten Hand in Hand zusammen, um dem Gast eine erholsame und unvergessliche Zeit zu bescheren. Sehr authentisch und natürlich mit viel lokalem Wissen aus mehreren Generation. Das Winterprogramm lässt keine Wünsche offen: Ausflüge an die Barentsee oder zu Samischen Rentierzüchtern, Hundeschlitten- und Snowmobil-Touren unterschiedlicher Dauer, Ausrüstung und Anleitung zu eigenen Erlebnissen auf LL-Skiern, Schneeschuhen oder Fatbikes, … Langweilig wird es nie und falls doch, dann bleibt immer noch die Sauna, die bei den meisten Unterkünften im Hüttenstil im Zimmer eingebaut ist. Die Vollpension umfasst ein solides Frühstück, leckere Suppe oder Eintopf zu Mittag und ein 3-Gang-Menü am Abend mit frischen und vor allem typisch Finnischen Zutaten - Hungrig geht man nicht zu Bett, wenn überhaupt: die Nächte können lang werden, wenn die Nordlichter das zentraleuropäische Auge nicht zur Ruhe kommen lassen. Die Nordlichter live in Nuorgam zu erleben, ist ein Traum. Alles in allem also ein Urlaub mit höchster Wiederholungsgefahr - auch zu einer anderen Jahreszeit!!! 1000x Danke an unsere Gastgeber Marjatta, Raimo, Eemeli und ihre immer super engagierten HelferInnen Inka, Hanna, Jorgi und all die anderen fleißigen Hände im Hintergrund!!!

The location is perfect. The cabin has a great panoramic view and is fully equipped. Nothing is missing. The team is very competent, fun, organized, friendly and helpful. The activities corresponded to the schedule and everything went as planned. The meals were very tasty and varied. To summarize, it was magical (fantastic). We couldn't have wished for a better vacation. We are glad we chose Nuorgam Holiday Village and would do the same vacation again in a few years.

Well you`re not spoiled for choise if you want to overnight in Nuorgam - this is it. Reception closed, No breakfast available. We called in advance of a late arrival and it was agreed key will be on the door. It wasn`t and even if it is just 2 minutes wait to get it one still had to call and remind. Not ideal. The cabin is quite expected. Enough running warm water, cooking possibility, fridge and quite clean. Not a roaring success but quite ok when its the only option. Window to the bathroom with no curtain :)

Hytta hadde gid standard , og renholdet var imponerende! Har aldri tidligere besøkt campinghytter med slikt renhold! Stedet kan trygt anbefales! Litt trist at kafeen er stengt!

Oikein ihana paikka. Vuokrasimme illallla saunan ja kävimme tenojoessa uimassa, aivan ihana kokemus ja sauna ei todellakaan ollut kallis.
Mökki oli siisti, pystyimme hyvin tekemään ruokaa, terassi oli kiva. Sänky oli hyvä.
Äänieristyksestä joudun pienen miinuksen antamaan, mutta se johtuu vaan siitä että meillä on ääniherkkä koira joka pelkää kaikkea, kaikki äänet kuului naapurista todella hyvin. Normaalia ihmistä tuskin tämäkään haittaa joten kaikinpuolin 5 tähden kokemus 👍
Jos on aikaa enemmän niin suosittelen ajamaan Norjan puolelle, Pykeijan (Pikku-Suomi) kylään (ajo kesto hiukan päälle tunnin). Erittäin ihana pieni kaupunki. Siellä voit vuokrata jäämeren saunan ja käydä jäämeressä uimassa, voiko parempaa kokemusta olla!

Great place to stay! Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We stayed 5 nights in a cabin with a bathroom and a sauna so we didn’t use the common facilities but according to other guests, everything was spotless. This is a good place to have as your base camp also if you’re planning to explore the beautiful fjords on the Norwegian side of the border. If you enjoy fishing, you’ll be pleased to see that the resort is located right on the shore of the famous Teno salmon river (please check the required permits and fishing restrictions) and not too far away from the fishing spots in Norway, ask the staff for recommendations!
