Blue Meadows-NuwaraEliya

This elegant hotel had the best bed and shower in Sri Lanka. The beautiful solid wood furniture and flooring gave it a luxurious vibe and the views were stellar. The owner and staff were very attentive to my needs, including a delightful private cooking lesson. The prawn curry was the most delicious I tasted during my month in the country.

I’ll start by saying that we only spent one night here this September. Given the hotel’s location, I would recommend bringing good warm clothing. Our room felt like a wind tunnel – the bathroom window couldn’t be closed, and the balcony windows didn’t seal properly. On the plus side, there was a space heater in the room, which I wouldn’t have expected to appreciate in Sri Lanka. The restaurant was also windy and cold. To not be entirely negative, the staff was great, the food was good, and the cleanliness and room amenities were at a decent level.
The Hill Club

The room is small, it is cold at night, the heater can not be turned on for a long time, it will automatically trip, but the service is good, old-style British service, breakfast is simple but very regular, afternoon tea is a try, after all, it is the most authentic British. The room is small, but the furniture is too large to affect walking. Billiard room, reading room, mix lounge bar, etc. are all worth trying. Fining restaurant dinner must be formal. Don't eat Chinese food around, just enjoy the sun in the garden
Nuwara Eliya Hills Rest

Nuwara Eliya City Center
This stay was no different to our time in Sri Lanka so far . The people have been very kind and hospitable as was the case at Nuwara Eliya Hills Rest. This was a short and sweet stay for us . The room was big and had all the amenities . The owner and his son gave us advice on things to do around Nuwara Eliya . They helped us organise a tuk tuk to Horton’s plains which we loved and even gave us a packed breakfast ! The guest house is located close to the town centre and Victoria park but feels far away from the chaos at the same time . Recommended if you’re visiting the town.
Misthill Rest - Lavish Villa

Very clean, good service, a lot of mosquitoes, fortunately, mosquito nets are provided, overall satisfaction, mainly because the location is very good, very close to the beach and not far from Chinese restaurants
Tea Bush Hotel

We visited this hotel for breakfast and lunch and celebrated our daughters birthday there while our family trip to nuwaraeliya. I have contacted them two weeks before the visit and asked them whether we can celebrate our daughters birthday and take breakfast and lunch. They agreed and kept contacts by email and phone calls untill we leave the place. We requested pure vegetarian and non veg meals together and they arranged it well beyond our expected level.. very helpful and understanding staff.
