Excellent experience. Check in through the pub. Friendly people. Close to shops. Close to lake front walking trail, then to the coast. Place to stay in Lake Illawarra.

We are two adults and three children. I booked a family room. The front desk did give me a regular room with a mattress. I showed the front desk the order confirmation. The front desk knew that it was a family room on the confirmation, but they asked me to pay. How much? Then they said that the price I paid was not a family room, but a regular room, and there was no room in the family room and it had been booked for three weeks. I asked for a solution, and the front desk said that I could only communicate with the agent the next day because it was 9 p.m. I said that our regular room couldn't fit in, so she needed to give me another room. There were already two family rooms. The front desk could do it but they had to pay extra for the room. They could only add a mattress to our room for free. It was useless to argue. We didn’t even need mattresses, so we barely stayed for one night.
