The rooms were good size but the beds were not comfortable and the AC didn’t work very well. There were a wide variety of breakfast items

A nice place to stay if you are going to New Gorge National Park (about 10 minutes away). Comfortable and convenient with a reasonable breakfast.

The staff at this hotel is one of the nicest I’ve ever dealt with. Amazing, kind people. Will definitely come back again.

Staff was exceptional. Very friendly and made the check-in and out easy. The staff spoke to you in passing and took the time to ask if you needed anything. I heard two of the staff having conversations with visitors in the breakfast room just like they had know them all their lives. Breakfast was ok. Pre-made omelets, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, the usual cereal selection, waffles, and toast/bagels. If we are ever in the area we will stay here again. Property conditions and facilities got a slightly lower score only due to the building being an older location but it was clean and that goes a long way.

Comfortable rooms and super friendly staff! The breakfast was decent—fuel for our hike-filled weekend mornings. We also appreciated how close the hotel was located to key New River Gorge hiking locations.
