Rooms were nice and clean. The man at the desk was really rude. We ask for more towels and accused us of not needing them. He was not pleasant to deal with. His wife was nice and helped us later on.

I got ate by bedbugs. That’s the biggest issue. The room was full of all kind of bugs. I thought maybe a mosquito bit me but the bites all down my side. Then I actually seen the bedbug crawling on the bed. Then it was a dirty towel left thrown over the shower curtain rod and hair all over the bathroom and bathroom sink. This was by far the worse experience ever. Then when I called the front desk he was so rude and saying I must’ve bought the bedbug from somewhere else and he’s not refunding me. He didn’t bother to even come look.

I had a very excellent experience at Oakwood. In was very clean new renovated rooms nice quiet atmosphere. I stand there two weeks on business trip housekeeping excellent rate excellent, front personnel phenomenal. It's quiet pleasant overall very great experience there. Thank you for the hospitality. Staff was very very friendly, I got a flat tire and the attendant in the front help me change my tire without hesitation, rooms were smelled & looked clean, this is a small town so everything is close by, I stayed here to visit the Oakdale prison which is about a block away which was very convenient for me , I stayed with my 4 kids was fine, I wish they would have had an extra lock for the door but other than that everything was good.
