We stayed here on our first trip to Oaxaca to experience Day of the Dead, the local cuisine, arts, and mezcal. I highly recommend this wonderful, boutique hotel. From the moment you enter the central courtyard, which houses the restaurant, you feel welcomed. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are new and extremely well designed. We had a large room with a very comfortable king bed, a couch, and small table with 2 chairs. The wall mounted heat and air unit is very effective in keeping the temperature comfortable. The closets, double vanity bath with large walk in shower, and enclosed potty room are behind the wall against which the bed rests. It is a great room. If you go, be sure to have a cocktail in the Cava Bar in the basement. The bartender is a true cocktail mixologist. Try the mezcalrita. You will not be disappointed. They offer an excellent breakfast selection and we ate there every day. Our server, Jeanette, had learned her excellent English during her years in Nashville. She was helpful, friendly, and a great plus for this hotel. We definitely would book this hotel again.
