The hosts were so friendly and accommodating! They accomodate to your specific needs which is a really nice touch. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The accomodation was beautiful and our room was amazing. Clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The complementary prosecco was also a lovely gesture. The location is perfect, beautiful views and a lovely stroll into town. Special thanks for Emilia at the front office desk!

We spent one night at Isle of Eriska. Although it was October, we were incredibly lucky that it was clear blue skies and we got to spend a blissful hour after arrival enjoying the serenity of the island. Our room was spacious, full of character and have everything you could need. Dinner was a delight (particularly pleasing to be offered a separate 3 choice vegetarian menu). However the real reason I felt compelled to write a review was due to the absolutely beautiful spa and the fantastic team who work there, each team member I encountered epitomised 5 star service at its very best. Unfortunately I was feeling a bit poorly on the morning of my visit and they all went out of their way to make it as lovely an experience as possible. For example, as I was relaxing by the pool, one of the team went out of his way, without me asking, to bring some honey and ginger tea, to make me feel better. The spa team are a real credit to the hotel and the newly refurbished spa is worth a visit in its own right...one of the best. ..

The location of the hotel is very good and the parking lot is large. Facing the bay and port, the scenery is beautiful. The room is not big and the overall feeling is rather old, but the price/performance ratio here is very high

it's a shame the hotel currently doesn't offer evening meals, as after a long journey the last thing we felt like was trying to find some where to have an evening meal. the hotel was very clean, comfortable & staff were friendly & helpful. the bathroom in the room we were in was small & compacted but functional, with the advantage of a large shower. the bar was always empty so didn't feel like being the only 2 in the bar so we didn't have any drinks, we didn't have breakfast it looked & smelt lovely. Feel it would have been a different experience if evening meal were being served. its a great location, saying this if in the area would use again

The Muthu hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Oban train station, the hotel is 100 years old, not very new, but the location is perfect, better than any other hotel location in Oban, firstly, it is not far from the train station, secondly, the hotel can look at both the hill across the street and the right side of the sea, thirdly, the hotel is only 1-minute walk from Oban's famous restaurant, EE-USK. The rooms directly across from the marina look out over Oban Bay. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated, and its casual style relaxes people, The hotel soundproofing is slightly worse. Occasionally, you can hear the floor sound of walking upstairs, but it does not affect the rest; also, please rest assured! This is my own personal experience. The staff here are all amiable, and I was very impressed. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone! This place will leave you with great memories of your trip!

GGuest UserBeautiful Victorian house with comfortable rooms and luxurious modern bathrooms. The room had charming decorations and a comfortable bed, and even included a floor-standing fan, which was a huge relief when the day we stayed turned out to be unusually warm. The owners were nice, friendly people. The location is great, just a little up the hill from the train station, ferry terminal, and city center of Oban, on a quiet residential street. Be warned that the rooms are all upstairs, so you will need to carry your luggage up. On the plus side, there is a cozy guest lounge upstairs with a great view over the bay.

SScoutHampshireI come to Oban each year to ‘escape to the Highlands’. I always stay at Glen view as Morwan is so kind and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable, especially the bed and the breakfast is always hot and cooked to order. It’s only a ten minute walk to the ferry port and station, and five minutes to the car hire place so the location is ideal. I always book well in advance, especially for longer periods as I always prefer a single room en-suite. I would always stay at Glenview and hope to again next year. I always visit Mull, Iona and Glencoe so stay at Glenview as I can do everything from there.

Not disappointed at all. From the minute we walked in we were made to feel welcome. We stayed here for a week in the king size sea view room ( my word what a view it was ) it was beyond expectations and not once did the standard drop. The level of cleanliness and hospitality was top notch, not to mention the food. Whether it was breakfast or an evening meal it was well cooked and very tasty. I have never had such tasty porridge as they make here. I can highly recommend staying here, you certainly won’t be disappointed.

JJIANYUNA little bit from the train station, so it is quieter. Looking at the sea, sitting in the hotel to see the sea, blue sky and white clouds, very beautiful. The breakfast was good, and the smoked salmon was more delicious than the traditional English breakfast at other hotels. After breakfast, I walked by the beach and saw the rainbow. I walked all the way and saw the rainbow changing. It was a surprise. Going to Scotland, recommending to Auburn, to Auburn, recommend this hotel.

The old hotel was quite dated but did not disappoint, The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet breakfast which you help yourself to whatever you wish A good selection of hot food and also the food selection of continental food was good also, 5 star breakfast. Evening meal very good also would return again just for the food. Great location in the centre of town close to all amenities. Don't let other bad views of this hotel put you off as this hotel is good value for money.
