Majestic Hotel & Apartments

The previous reviews had me so freaked out that I actually bought an air mattress for fear that the place would be that awful. Far from it. No, it’s not fancy, nor it is at all updated. If you’re expecting luxury here, you’ve booked the wrong place by far. What it is, however, is clean, quiet, and centrally located. I was assigned room 109, just down the hallway from the main lobby (very convenient). The room was a little small, but perfect for me and my 9 year old daughter. Air conditioning was great, the bed was comfortable, and we had no issues with bugs or vermin or mold or anything like it. It was perfectly fine. Fridge and microwave were included and worked great. TV was entertaining. Shower was amazing - water pressure was absolutely perfect. The outside porch facing the ocean was a HUGE treat. A terrific place to rock and sip your morning coffee. The ONLY thing that was maybe a problem was that the room door “stuck” a little and getting in and out of the room took a little muscle, but it was so incredibly minor an issue that I’d hardly call it a detractor. I would definitely book again. I came in with low expectations and was very pleasantly surprised.

Location was perfect. Didn’t have the room we booked but we were at the beach, so who cares. Staff was great! Thanks Dave for the extra time in the pool. Beach and boards are always a good time. Place is outdated but not a big deal. Parking was an issue. Not enough to let it ruin my vaca. Will be back

We stayed in Unit 221. There was mold in the bathroom, the carpet was filthy, the master bedroom was miserably hot. It’s in a great location and the staff are friendly, but they did not seem concerned when we informed them of an electrical short in the master bedroom. We ended up checking out a day earlier. I typically do not write reviews, but I do not want someone else to be put in the same situation.

Booking the reservation with your front desk agent Shay she accommodated my business partner & i very well .She put us in a decent room. her customer service was excellent.she was very friendly! the room was clean, bathrooms clean !

Shay was very helpful and friendly. The building is 100 years old but I didn't have any issues with the room. It does show its age but I like seeing the character of classic looks. This is the last season the building will be available to stay.

Service was amazing, staff was very professional, well organized, very helpfully as well. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room. I would definitely come back and recommend this to others looking for a good place to stay

Old apartment, needs to be renovated

well doors are paper thin. hardly on hinges right. paint peeling off walls. then they charged me a security deposit without telling me of $350.00. lied to my face saying they didn't do it. called my bank and they said hotel did charge me. i was out to eat when i found out they charged my account cause lady came back and said declined card. i was so mad and upset when i saw why my card was declined. i will never stay there again.

the sink had no airiator and water sprayed all over the floor.
