大変景色のいいところでした。雲海が見えるスポットも親切に教えていただき、素晴らしい景色を見ることができ、大満足です。
星空は、部屋からのぞいただけでしたが、外に出たらもっときれいだったのだろうなと思います

旅行支援で宿泊。一泊二食付き。夕食は刺身定食・天婦羅定食選択で部屋はお任せの一番お安いコース。建物・設備ともに古く老朽化かいかんともしがたい。案内された部屋は８畳の和室に縁側と３畳程度の前室がついている。個別空調のエアコン、リモコン付き照明、温水洗浄便座付きトイレで建物が古いという以外はすごく快適。二人には広すぎるくらい。窓は三瓶と反対方向についていて夕日はきれいに見える。食事の間に従業員が布団を敷いてくれるシステム。温泉は施設が古く洗い場には仕切りがない。湯温が高く泉質が酸性なのか入浴後に手が荒れてハンドクリームを塗るほど。ゆっくりと入浴を楽しめる温泉施設ではない。旅行支援でほぼ満室だったらしく、団体客は大広間での夕食のよう。私達個人客は食堂で部屋番号が示されたあらかじめ料理が載っているテーブルに案内されて食事。コロナ禍で最小限にした職員で一度に増えた旅行支援客をこなすためには、あらかじめ作り置きした料理であるのは致し方ない。女性２名と若い男性１名が、かいがいしく動いている。まあ、こうした施設では料理に多くを期待する方が無理というものだが、値段の割には見栄えのする暖かい皿もある夕食で、満足度は高かった。私達は三瓶山登山後の宿として利用したが、ゆっくり温泉で休み料理なども楽しみたいという目的には合わないかも。快適にはしているが、建物・設備の老朽化はいかんともしがたく、周囲にこれといった娯楽施設もない。登山や島根県立三瓶自然館サヒメルの利用、近隣のハイキングの基地として利用するなら、利用価値大だろう。
