Super 8 by Wyndham Odessa TX

The elevator was not working at this location so my elderly grandmother could not climb stairs to 2nd floor. It was hard carrying all of my luggage up the stairs

Odessa is a feaster famine kind of town for hotels. We were looking for something that would be safe, economical, and comfortable. I will not stay in this place again. Pros: Easy access to the highway Limited breakfast Kind front desk personnel Updated bedding Clean bathroom Cons: Elevator didn't work and we were on the second floor No towels were left for us. We had to go get them Swimming pool was closed in June Hot tub was closed Breakfast was not well stocked and look so bad that several people just took one look and left. My foot stuck to the floor at the foot of my bed The hallway stunk of food but that may have been just the people that night Highway noise loud in our room TV clicker missing the back Several light bulbs not working in the room The worst part was when we called to inform super 8 that we were going to be coming in late that evening, the heavy foreign accent man needed way too much information and then tried to sell us on extra stuff that Wyndham sells. Obviously they had hired a call center but it would have been nice to have actually talked to the front desk of the actual hotel we were going to attend and not get an advertisement. Overall, I think that the people who work there are doing their best. Just don't think that Wyndham is a place that we will stay in the future.

Room smelled like cigarettes. I requested a non smoking room. No water pressure in shower. Beds were super uncomfortable. Do not bring your family here

Friendly staff quiet place and good location easy access to i20 good place to eat next door that’s walking distance

Problems with TV, remote, light , HVAC and key card. All were resolved by staff. Staff friendly. Room clean. Downside, owner doesn't seem to keep place up. Old lamls, receptacle loose and not working.

We had a wonderful time this weekend at the hotel. I would definitely recommend it. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was really good. The only issue that we had the entire weekend was the juice dispenser was out of order. Juice would've made a good breakfast great.

I was quite disappointed over all with the hotel. Especially the breakfast that was disgustingly undercooked each morning. And didn't appreciate the maid just walking into our room a couple times out first morning

Gave our room to someone else (only one room with enough beds) and we had to fight to get room to stay in, then removed our belongings without permission before room was ready to move to. Had to split us between two rooms and initially had us separated by multiple rooms and the lobby. We were traveling with teen girls that we wanted to keep close, thus booking the 4 bed room.
