Remember this place is Value for money - a Budget Hotel / Motel. The hotel is 30 minutes drive from the airport, €37 by taxi. The location is nice close to the two beaches within walking distance. The resort has a nice clean swimming pool only for hotel guests. Rooms are cleaned every day, to a satisfactory level, but wear and tear are visible in each corner and especially in the bathroom. Our shower was blocked, and water was going out very slowly. I reported it to the receptionist, but nothing has been done. Tv is in each room with many-many channels, mostly English, so the lack of entertainment in the evening can be compensated for this way. Every unit has a built-in air conditioner. Food was a problem. Breakfast was fine, nothing can really go wrong with chopping ham, and cheese, and placing butter, and fruits on the buffet. Lunch and dinner are a problem. I don’t think that there is any experienced chef working in the kitchen. All was dry, without taste, and re-heated many times. Vegetable from Lidl or Aldi cans. Out of 10 stars, food would get only 1 – not even that. The staff at reception and in the dining, the room was very friendly and helpful. So overall, go for it, but don’t pay too much – it’s a budget place.

It was a pleasant experience, the staff very helpful and efficient; breakfast was tasty and varied.
The room had good dimensions for two people, a comfortable and spacious bed, plenty of storage space, very effective black-out curtains and was well air conditioned. The bathroom had a good shower, with great power and well regulated in terms of temperature.
However, the soundproofing of the room could be better.

The room is clean, good beds, good bathroom and is wide, including with balcony. The hotel is a 3-star hotel with a demandable service because despite the efforts of staff, at the time the hotel is with only one person at the reception to account all demands of who is already hosted and check-in of who is coming. The hotel is very well located and it makes a lot of things without having to move by car, even front of the ****** of Estoril. The staff are sympathetic and attentive, and it is a hotel only to rest and leave the other day or to work or to tour.

We arrived here early, long before check-in. We waited in the lounge, which was comfortable enough, and noticed guests arriving after us were being allocated thier rooms before us, no reason given. We had booked 2 balcony rooms, only to be put in the basement with a ”garden room”, no view, dark and dingy. I complained and in fairness we were moved the following day, although we were put two floors apart, not ideal as we were travelling as one party. One of our party was taken unwell and the Reception staff could not have been more unhelpful, flatly refusing to call a doctor. Having worked in the travel business in this resort I can honestly say that I have never stayed in such an unfriendly, unhelpful hotel. I would never even consider staying at this awful place again, let alone recommend it to anyone else. Please pay a little more and stay in a decent hotel as far away from this one as possible.

The staff is wonderful, i came with my 2 kids, and we had 3 single beds. Beds are comfortable. The bathroom size is correct, not too small, and not too big. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast bufet is very nice and complete. Thanks again to the staff who are very helpful and kind. The walk to the beach is 5 min, the beach is very nice. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I was on a working trip, stayed at the hospital for one week, and the company has handled the entire process of stay during those days. The friendliness and good education rules were broken, when a reception official manifestly did not care to properly transmit the information, exposing me to other customers. It is not appropriate to say in the middle of the reception that ”it will have to leave the room if the company does not make payment.” There are discrete ways to request the settlement of a bill, without passing by ”humiliation” to other customers. The company has been working with this hotel group for a long time, it could have requested the liquidity of the bill to the company's accounting area.

We loved every minute of our stay there, this had become our hotel in Lisbon for the last 2 years Great newly refurbished hotel, located on a hill overlooking the ocean and the Lisbon golf. Rooms are fairly sized (circa 35sqm), and half are facing the ocean view. The staff is very friendly, available, and helpful. The hotel has plenty of free parking, and 1 heated 25m long pool, a spa, a 20 m external pool, next to a bar and a kids wadding pool. The rooms are well insulated, you can't hear a noise and spotless This hotel is just pure serenity, despite being locates 26mns drive from the center, I prefer to stay here and relax and drive RT to the city.

This hotel is in a great location, right across to the Jeronimos Monestary in Belem. Breakfast was incredible- so much to choose from, fresh and delicious. King size bed was comfortable. However, furniture and other decor is dated and shows lots of wear. Bathroom, though clean, was dark (it was hard to see to put makeup on) and showers are not really easy to get in and out of a you have to step up to get into it and down of course to get out. Even with a safety handle it's slippery (and I have the bruise to prove it). Staff was courteous and friendly. I feel the pictures are nice than the rooms actually look

We came for 2 nights here in Sintra and this B&B was fantastic. The beds were the most comfortable beds we've had in a hotel room, the room wad tidy, modern and clean. Breakfast was delicious and had a range of nice options. The bread and croissants were particularly good. Service was brilliant throughout. We arrived very late (1am) but we found the check-in super easy thanks to Mariana. Overall, a great place to stay. Highly recommended.

BBernhard LWe chose the Vila Gale because of the proximity to Lisbon (we had business all over Portugal but wanted to visit Lisbon, too) and the view of the ocean - and we were not disappointed at all. The welcome was warm and friendly, and our suite with separate living and sleeping room, big terrace, garden/pool and ocean view was very pleasant as well - everything in order, kept clean, and a lot of space (our youngest daughter, 2, was with us, and she needs a l o t of space...). Parking was in the adjacent garage (good thing because the town itself does not offer too much space for cars). Breakfast: fantastic and outstanding. One of the best breakfasts we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy, a wide range of fresh everything, plus champagne, in an antique setting. For those who enjoy such ambiance, this is paradise. Dinner: in the same room as breakfast, and equally pleasant. Dishes are delicious, and service is flawless, too. Spa area: we used their indoor pool, sauna, and steam bath - all of which are kept in excellent state, offer sufficient space, and a quiet and relaxing time. The location itself is fine for those who have a car, Lisbon is nearby - 20 minutes to the centre when there is no rush hour or jam. Without car - it might appear a bit off, though. Overall: definitely worth a da capo, and really nothing to complain about at all - we loved it.

GGuest UserWe just stayed 4 nights at this hotel and were pleased with the comfort and efficiency from the hotel staff. Especially want to compliment Albert in the breakfast room, he was ever so helpful and efficient helping me with organising milk for my child every morning. Thank you Albert, very friendly. The rooms are comfortable, apart from the pillows are not great and the soap dish has holes at the bottom so water seeps through all over the sink surface and had a couple of things to mention that the bottled water should be complimentary at least once per day and a kettle in the room for tea and coffee would be a great bonus! Coffee doesn’t taste too good at breakfast but cannot complain too much as it was great to have a free breakfast with a good selection of food. (Tomato ketchup missing at the buffet too but if you ask they will serve you some) On the whole the hotel has free breakfast and parking and is in a good location for travelling to sintra, cascáis and Lisbon, very convenient.

Several guests, me including, were very annoyed by that and left the breakfast room. In current times we cannot ignore this anymore and we have to take responsibility.

GGuest UserA nice, quiet place to stay just outside Lisbon (in the Porto Salvo area). We had a full-size bed with a couch, desk for working, and cable tv (the English channels begin at 200 - CNN, BBC, etc, plus movie channels). The breakfast spread was tasty and filling - coffee machine (8 different self-serve options), fruit juices, pastries, make yourself pancakes, fruit, and sliced meat. There is a Lidl supermarket next door and the Oeires Parque mall is a 15-minute walk away. We used a taxi and Uber to get around, and the Paco de Arcos train station was a short ride over to get into Lisbon. The staff (with the exception of a few of the house keepers) all spoke English and were friendly and helpful. If you are in Lisbon for more than a few days and looking for an economical hotel, then highly recommend!

GGuest UserMy partner and I spent two nights here after a city hotel, for some relaxation. We considered the price reasonable (~100 Euros per night). The pool and restaurant area are just what we needed. The pool is right above the highway but most of the time you wouldn't notice. The view of the Tagus meeting the Atlantic is beautiful any time of day. The food in the restaurant was good, we particularly enjoyed breakfast. The hotel partners with a local masseuse, Nikita, who did a fantastic job on my over-worked legs. Two days prior, we had hiked at Sintra and Cabo da Roca lighthouse, down to Praia da Aroeira, which left me incredible sore, still (also definitely worth it and highly recommended). I walked out feeling more relaxed and in less pain. If you stay at this hotel, the massage is not to be missed, for only 40 Euros (plus tip, because c'mon, we're all good people here). The room was comfortable, although we had a small aircon issue where the air would not get cold enough for my hot-natured partner. With the windows open and the breeze, I was comfortable. The bed was sufficient for a good night's sleep, though more pillows would have been appreciated.

GGuest UserENG: Summary: Somehow, *********** permits this barely-2-stars hotel to be verified with 4. The only thing good here are the surprisingly large rooms and the swimming pool. Possible one the most peculiar hotel I have been to in my life. Firstly, it is almost impossible to get there with a GPS. The only sign is a tiny one saying ”Local Hotel” in the front door. Secondly, the hotel is somehow 4 stars, when in reality it doesn't go over 2 stars. Some examples of this: horribly low maintenance the walls haven't been cleaned probably since it was constructed. Moreover, there is humidity problems in the hotel. The breakfast, is terribly bad. Resembling the breakfast of a backpacking hostel. Moreover, the ”room service” is basically non-existent, in which they give you ”clean” towels (not enough for everyone, we were 4, they gave us 2.) The only good thing I can think about in this hotel is probably the surprisingly large rooms and the swimming pool. ESP: Resumen: De alguna manera, *********** permite que este hotel de apenas 2 estrellas sea verificado con 4. Lo único bueno aquí son las habitaciones sorprendentemente grandes y la piscina. Posiblemente uno de los hoteles más peculiares en los que he estado en mi vida. En primer lugar, es casi imposible llegar allí con un GPS. El único letrero es uno pequeño que dice ”Hotel local” en la puerta principal. En segundo lugar, el hotel es de alguna manera 4 estrellas, cuando en realidad no pasa de 2 estrellas. Algunos ejemplos de esto: terriblemente bajo mantenimiento, las paredes no se han limpiado probablemente desde que se construyó. Además, hay problemas de humedad en el hotel. El desayuno, es terriblemente malo. Parecido al desayuno de un hostel para mochileros. Además, el ”servicio de habitaciones” es básicamente inexistente, en el que te dan toallas ”limpias” (no alcanzan para todos, éramos 4, nos dieron 2). Lo único bueno que se me ocurre en este hotel es probablemente las habitaciones sorprendentemente grandes y la piscina

GGuest UserStayed here for 3 nights end of July to see Iron Maiden at the national stadium. We arrived as the bar was shutting but the barman very kindly for us a drink anyway. Comfortable rooms. Room smelled a bit when we came in but after airing it, was fine. Air con works. Room very dated but clean, maid service every day. Breakfast good, nice buffet. Evening meal basic selection of 3 different things. Nowhere else really to go and eat though. We walked into the town which is about ten minutes away and everything was shut at 7.30pm, no restaurants open, was like a ghost town. Only place open was a takeaway chicken, and that was actually very nice. Uber is cheaper to get anywhere than a taxi, around €11 into Lisbon itself. Not a hotel for families really as not much to do, or anywhere to go. Pool is nice. No kettle or any other facilities in the room to make a hot drink, so if the bar and restaurant are shut you don't have any options of getting a hot drink. Very easy access to the National stadium, short cut under the motorway, was just a 15 minute walk. Staff wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Would stay again but solely for the purpose of visiting a band at the National stadium.

Lunch and dinner are a problem. I don’t think that there is any experienced chef working in the kitchen. All was dry, without taste, and re-heated many times. Vegetable from Lidl or Aldi cans. Out of 10 stars, food would get only 1 – not even that. The staff at reception and in the dining, the room was very friendly and helpful. So overall, go for it, but don’t pay too much – it’s a budget place.
