We enjoyed our stay at Garden Terrace Saga, with its modern rooms and superb service. We arrived after a long day of travels around Saga prefecture. Please note that there is an entrance via Shinei Dori Street, Dive through the red building tunnel, across a short bridge and make a left turn, the hotel is on your right. After a quick check-in process, we were escorted to our room on the 6th floor. Our agent had booked us the honeymoon suite and it was absolutely lovely. After a brief introduction, she left us to our own devices. Upon entry, two large double beds occupied the double ceiling area. This room was at the apex of the Isosceles-triangle-shaped hotel. Beds had clean and smooth sheets and was super comfortable. Bedside charging points are in built into the side table area. A large flat screen TV is mounted on the wall in front of the bed. Mostly local TV channels though! Walking beyond the beds is the make-up table with comfy chair and large mirror. The closest is behind this and you can find slippers, bath robes and the room safe here. There is an exit door behind the floor to ceiling mirrors here too, with staircase leading down. I believe the housekeeping uses this to get into the room. Beware that the door was not locked when we found it. Some added security here for guests would be ideal. Moving back to the main door, and to the right is a small toilet area, separate from the shower/bathroom area. The standard Japanese toilet and small sink is housed here. if you walk to the left as you approach the main door, there is a large sitting area with comfy sofa, and another TV. There is also a 6 seater dining table. The hotel was really good to us and gave us a box of cakes that was left in the man-height fridge. The hotel also notified the Teppanyaki restaurant that I had a bottle bubbly from a previous stay in the fridge. Thus restaurant flipped the beverage menu to the champagne page we were given the menus. We liked this sharing of information! There is tea and coffee making facilities here too. Wifi is standard throughout the hotel and it was pretty fast and strong.. The bathroom is right behind the living room TV. Double sinks and loads to amenities. There was also a bottle of bathing sake for guest use. A rain shower and bath tub is connected to the bathroom. One can also exit the bathroom and into the enclosed balcony area [or go out via the living room]. where there is a large seating area is ready to welcome guests, as well as a jacuzzi. I went down to the gym on the two mornings we overnighted here. The gym is small and narrow with very select machines. One multi function weight machine, two light dumbbells station and one treadmill and bicycle/elliptical [?] machine. There is a small swimming pool and a Sauna cabin next to it. The room is quite old and the accommodation of women is severe. It seems that cleaning is only appropriate and visible. For my RE_PRAY trip, I found a vacancy before departure and booked this hotel instead. It was nice not to have to run around. Just two steps from the south exit of Saga Station is the Sakura Hotel. I left Saga for the first time. It was near the moat of Saga Castle, quiet, and the building facilities, beds and living rooms had a history, but the linens were clean, so it was also tasteful and there was no discomfort. If you take a taxi from JR Station, it will be about 1,000 yen. If you walk, it will take about 20 minutes to pass through Chinatown, and there are many restaurants and coffee shops on the road. The hotel is diagonally opposite the Yuwu (Saga's old department store), but this road is extremely quiet and the Japanese-style room is very good. But the area is really too small, the bed is made at night, there is basically no place to stand. On the first day of stay, the hotel may have many guests, but still encountered ”bad things”. First, the toilet was not cleaned, the waiter sincerely apologized and changed the room for us; Then went downstairs for dinner, but after coming up, they should have made the bed when we ate, but it may be that the service staff is not enough and the bed is not made. But fortunately, it was solved in time. The hotel proprietress is very elegant, there is a service staff at the front desk, Chinese, Japanese, and English are very, very good, and communication is completely fine. We stayed for two days, and they specially prepared different content for dinner, so as not to eat the same for two days. That's very intimate. If you come to Saga and want to try a quiet family hotel, but it is too late to go to the mountains in the countryside, this is still quite recommended.

There are very few foreign tourists. They are places where local people go to hot springs. Because there are fewer tourists, communication is a bit difficult. A thin man at the front desk will speak a little English, patiently tell us about the hotel facilities, warm smiles, poor communication. At the time, let us draw on the map, the location is far from the Saga JR station, more than 8 kilometers. The hotel shuttle runs every hour, but the shuttle location is very difficult to find. At the north exit, follow the left, semi-circular passage to the side of the road, under a traffic light, there is a North Island dessert shop opposite. The location of the South Exit Shuttle is more concealed. The South Exit is a parking lot, and the parking lot is on the south side of the road. It is basically not visible at the exit. The hotel spa is not bad, there are several, and there are open air. Hotel breakfast is pure Japanese, one person, not used to eat! Dinner is good, there is Saga beef, the taste is good, the mother of the restaurant does not speak English, but the smile of the face and the warm Japanese introduction, I don't understand, but people are moved! There is a children's play area, kids like it! I feel that many locals are specializing in hot springs, and it seems that they are not fully accommodated. It takes about 25 minutes to get to the train station. The traffic jam at the peak of the commute near Saga train station is a bit serious.

ONCRI It is read as Oncri. I couldn't stay overnight, so I used the day trip hot spring. ONCRI is the big building you can see right in front of you as you enter the hot spring town of Furuyu. My first impression was, ”It's big!” It's nice that even though it's a large accommodation facility, you can use the hot springs for day trips regardless of the time of day. The price is 1300 yen. Comes with one towel. The hot springs are very warm and perfect for a long soak. There are many different types of bathtubs to enjoy, including a sauna, jet bath, open-air bath, steam bath, barrel bath, and cascading bath, and even I, who was from Karasu no Gyosui, was able to enjoy it for an hour. Lockers for shoes and valuables The lockers in the changing room are either free or 100 yen refundable, so you don't need to pay anything other than the bathing fee. It would be nice to enjoy the cafe in the hotel lobby after taking a bath. I definitely want to stay overnight next time.

Yanagawa is a peaceful and beautiful water town. This is an old-style hot spring hotel with older but clean facilities. Rich breakfast and attentive service. The hotel gives away a coupon of 1,000 yen per person, which can be used to participate in the river cruise activities organized by the hotel. Great!

It took 1 minute to get out of the station, really 100% in front of the station. Travel convenience is full. There are items for children, very careful. There are public bathing facilities, open two hours a day, the time is very long, early or late can be soaked. Like: In addition to the sockets at both ends, there are even usb-a and usb-c sockets, which is particularly convenient. The hotel in the big Japanese city has not been updated to the usb-c socket.

As the hotel name suggests, it is located on the premises of the roadside station ”Ureshi no Maruku”, not only adjacent to Ureshino Onsen Station, but also accessible by Shinkansen or car. The building has a new scent and atmosphere, and you can enjoy a simple and stylish feeling. The quality of the hotel and staff is stable, but on the other hand, probably because the roadside station is a little too fashionable, it is ”not like” compared to the general roadside station, and in that sense the hotel itself is not responsible. As for the surrounding environment, it feels bad. Especially at dinner, it seems that there is no choice but to eat out or rely on convenience stores, which is a little disappointing.
