O2 Beach Club & Spa All Inclusive by Ocean Hotels

Very nice smaller hotel without overcrowding. Good generally good. More international beer brands expected for the price point. Service generally good; minibar not restocked. Guidance on dinner bookings hot and miss (we were booked into a restaurant one evening that was closed!)

My friends and I stayed here from July 9th–12th, and our travel agent booked this resort for us. It was our first time visiting Barbados, and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mosiah, who truly made our stay unforgettable. He was professional, courteous, and gave us great recommendations on the best places to visit around the island. The food throughout the resort was excellent—Element has amazing pasta! The customer service was outstanding across the board, from the bartenders and front desk staff to the bellmen, towel attendants, and room service team. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The resort was also very clean and well-maintained. We would definitely rate our experience a 10/10 and can't wait to come back!

Let me start by saying that this place would have received a five star review from us, but a couple of big misses really knocked down our overall experience. We really hate to complain, but there were two things that happened that were not good. There was an alarm system that was loudly chirping starting in the afternoon and went until late morning the next day. No one could sleep. It was awful. It should have been fixed sooner. All night long was just unacceptable. And really, at the very least an apology from management should have happened. Even a note, something. The hotel treated it as if nothing ever happened. Second thing: housekeeping was NOT GOOD. Everyday we put our door sign on for "service please" and we would be gone out of our room all day at the beach and pool, only to come back and find our room not cleaned. Every day I went to the front desk asking for housekeeping and even then it took a couple of hours. Additionally, we had issues when housekeeping did come. They never restocked our water bottles in the fridge. The worst was one day, they removed all of our towels and replaced none of them! I had to spend time at the front desk every day asking for towels, housekeeping service, water bottles, etc. it was very frustrating. Oh - and no restocking of toilet paper! I must say though that the food and beverage staff at the restaurants and bars were OUTSTANDING! Dwayne, Akeem, Trish, Georgiana, Shaq, they were like great friends, hugged them when we left!!!! Others too like Javon, can't remember everyone but so good!!!!!

Perfect home away from home experience. Staff, hotel, cleanliness were stunning and professional. Will definitely repeat this hotel over and over again.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at O2 Beach Club & Spa, and it's one of those places we'll be talking about for a long time. We stayed in one of the swim-up rooms, and it was worth every penny. Walking out onto our patio each morning with the beach and that beautiful turquoise water just steps away never got old. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and honestly one of our favorite parts of the trip. From the moment we arrived, everything was easy. Check-in and check-out were quick and seamless, and anytime we needed something—ice, fresh towels, or anything else—it showed up almost immediately. The service throughout our stay was exceptional and really made us feel taken care of. The food completely exceeded our expectations. We've stayed at several all-inclusive resorts over the years, and this was easily the best food we've experienced. The fine dining restaurants truly felt like fine dining, with excellent presentation, creative menus, and food that we'd happily pay for back home. Even the little beach grill served some of our favorite meals of the trip. The drinks were just as impressive. There was a huge variety, and they felt like real craft cocktails instead of the typical sugary resort drinks. Whether we wanted something tropical or something a little more unique, every drink was made with care. We also spent an afternoon at the spa, and it was one of the highlights of our vacation. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with incredible ocean views while you're relaxing. We had one of the best massages and pedicures we've ever had, and it was exactly what we needed. Everyone at the spa was wonderful. What really made our experience special, though, was the people. Every employee we met was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy that we were there. We'd especially like to recognize Mosiah, Dwayne, Jakobi, Yvonne, Seth, Georgiana, and Rori for making our stay even more memorable. They all went above and beyond, and their kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. One thing we really appreciated was how relaxed the resort felt. It never seemed crowded. We never had to hunt for chairs, wait in long lines, or feel like we were competing with other guests for anything. It honestly felt like we had the place almost to ourselves at times, which made it incredibly peaceful. The location was perfect, and once we arrived, we never felt the need to leave the resort because everything we wanted was already there. Thank you to everyone at O2 Beach Club & Spa for such an incredible vacation. We left feeling relaxed, well-fed, and already talking about when we can come back. If you're thinking about staying here, don't hesitate—you won't regret it.

We found the hotel to be lovely and would definitely return and recommend. The welcome was fantastic and made us feel valued as guests. Food was excellent! Definitely try Oro and book in for the breakfast there to to benefit from the views. The seafood buffet was another highlight. The beach was lovely, the waves were a little choppy for some however we borrowed some boogie boards from the hotel and made the most of it! We got to see turtles nesting on the beach in the evening and spoke with the local rescue charity staff. This was a really special moment. The rooms were clean and refreshingly cool. Lovely views over the sea and the pool. Id say from all of the lovely guests we spoke to, the general opinion on the hotel was the same as ours. Bar one particularly difficult family who were clearly looking for issues in order to attempt to get a refund. A lot of other guests noticed their attitude and were rolling their eyes. Id suggest to ignore any negative review from the last week in June! The staff were fantastic! Jason in particular, whilst handling the difficult family in the most professional manner and staying calm.

I am disappointed to have to write this review because there were aspects of our stay that we genuinely enjoyed. The oceanfront views were beautiful, the location was excellent, and the food throughout our stay was very good. Unfortunately, a series of room and maintenance issues significantly affected our overall experience. We booked the Luxury 1 Bedroom Oceanfront Suite for a medical trip and were looking for a quiet, comfortable, and relaxing stay. Our first room was extremely noisy, with loud sounds from the pool area and bar. The hotel accommodated our request for a room change the following day, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the second room also had problems. The bathroom leaked and repeatedly flooded the bathroom floor. Maintenance came to address it and improved the issue somewhat, but the rainfall shower still leaks whenever the handheld shower is turned on The night before my medical procedure, the air conditioning was barely working, making it very difficult to sleep. Even after my procedure the following day, I was unable to properly rest because the issue had not yet been resolved. While attempting to repair the AC later that evening, maintenance left our room in an unacceptable condition. We had stepped out while they were working on it. When we returned we were greeted with a used glove by the door and dust and debris from the ceiling covered the bathroom, vanity, makeup bag, and personal toiletries, which was very upsetting and unhygienic. We called the front desk to report it after the housekeeping line was ringing out, but after waiting over 30 minutes, no one came. We eventually had to insist that the manager come to the room herself, and when she did she personally cleaned the area, which we appreciated. To make matters worse, the ac was still barely working and another repair visit was required the following day making it very difficult to get adequate rest after my procedure. By that point, we felt that too much of our stay had been disrupted by ongoing room issues and maintenance visits. Instead of being able to relax, we spent a significant portion of our trip dealing with repairs and room-related concerns. The staff did make efforts to assist, and we appreciate those who tried to resolve the issues. However, the repeated maintenance, cleanliness, and service problems fell well below what we would expect from a luxury property and ultimately overshadowed what should have been a positive stay.

We had an amazing stay at the O2 Beach Club & Spa. It was the “Stay” element of our “Cruise & Stay” Honeymoon. We could not have picked a better hotel - from Check-In to Check-Out we were made to feel like royalty there.

The views were spectacular!! Loved how attentive and warm welcoming the staff were. Their attention to detail helped to make the experience one to remember and cannot wait to return to O2 in the future.
