If you are going to stay in OKC, I cannot imagine why one would stay anywhere else. (Well, I guess if you need a golf course or a pool, this would not be your place.) This building was erected when architects had an imagination beyond glass towers and owners willing to pay to build something beautiful. The architecture is stunning, the decor is breathtaking. Even the elevator doors and the panels above the elevators are ridiculously ornate and beautiful. The Great Hall is well named (rather like the Grand Canyon is too). Don't miss the downstairs bar built in the old safe-deposit vault. Few bars have you walk in via a two-foot-thick steel door! Rooms were clean and well kept. Great shower plus Beekman soap - I buy that for my personal use! The elevators have the upgraded system where it directs you to the best elevator to get you to your floor. So efficient - I only shared an elevator once during my whole stay. I wish all hotels would install these. HVAC system was efficient and quiet; after some nightmares elsewhere, I don't take that for granted anymore. All-in-all a tremendous hotel in a great location. Good coffee shop on premises and another across the street. Gilded Acorn Cafe served delicious food. I wolfed my egg salad sandwich and went to town on my partner's quiche. Both yummy. Burn it off at the very adequate fitness center. A good selection of cardio and weight machines. plus, my favourite, an erg, (even few gyms have those these days). (Note to manager, a foam roller would be a great, and inexpensive, addition.) You should stay here, just pulling up out front feels special. And the friendly staff will make you feel all the more so.

I would like to use it if there is another opportunity. There are many shops in the vicinity and it is convenient. There is no problem with the meal. The room was not a problem in particular.
