Downtown Oklahoma City
Best thing about the Marriott Courtyard on Reno is its location. It is about 2 blocks from the Bricktown area with restaurants and riverwalk. It is adjacent to the Paycom Center where the OKC Thunder basketball team plays. It is about 1 mile from the OKC Bombing Memorial. The worst thing about the Marriott Courtyard on Reno is its location. There are lots of people walking and driving outside the hotel in the evening. It is pretty loud. There is a freight train line across the street and the trains are loud. Hotel is clean. Housekeeping did not clean our room or give us clean towels. I didn't see any statement that they were skipping days for housekeeping. Bathroom was ok. Sink did not drain well. Thermostat was erratic. Sometimes room was too hot; other times too cold. Clerk checking us in said breakfast wasn't included. Fortunately, we had printed confirmation that said it was. Breakfast was a buffet for $19 a person. Food was ordinary, except for an omelet station where the woman made great omelets, but only 1 of the 2 days.

Great service. Beautiful hotel. I wish they had better breakfast options. Even the complementary coffee was done as inexpensively as possible. But, great location. Right by all the major highways. Stores and shopping withing a few blocks, are aplenty. The colors of the room are this cool blue color. Very relaxing. The best T.V. that I have ever seen in a room. But, only 40 channels. 10 of the channels are ESPN channels another 10 or more are new channels. So it was difficult to find anything interesting to watch. Very small deposit (which was nice).

I was finishing up a long day of travel after driving over 11 hours, much of which was in pouring rain. That being said, I was glad to arriveat this Courtyard. When I entered the building, there was a warm fire glowing which was very inviting. The male front desk agent that checked me in was professional and engaged me in pleasant and interesting conversation, and informed me of all the necessary information to ensure I had an enjoyable stay. When I entered the room, I ensured it was clean, and then went downstairs to tend to some business and then get a bite to eat since their onsite eatery/bar, The Bistro, would be closing soon. I completed a task on the computer in their business area but realized I could not print the document because no printer was connected. I informed the front desk agent and she was very helpful, giving me her email address so I could email the document to her and she in turn printed it. Thankful that I was done taking care of business, I headed to The Bistro and was served by Kevin, who was professional, a great conversationalist, and helpful. I ordered some wings with garlic aioli, and also attempted to order a Whiskey Sour, but was informed that there was an issue with supply delivery and there was no bourbon. Once he determined that I liked wine, he recommended a nice Riesling, which I sipped on by the fire while waiting on the wings.  When he brought them over, I headed upstairs to eat and sip in the comfort of my room while watching Netflix. The wings were flavorful and the garlic aioli was a great accompaniment. After a comfortable night's sleep, I woke up early and attended to the business that brought me to the OKC area, returned to the hotel for about an hour, and then caught the hotel shuttle to the airport. I enjoyed my experience here from beginning to end. All of the staff members, including the shuttle driver, that I encountered were magnificent. I regret that my stay was so short and wouldn't hesitate to stay here in the future.
