Our check in was smooth. The cookies were a bit over-baked but still a nice touch (except for no napkins!). We requested a room on the highest floor and away from elevators. We received a room on the 5th floor (highest) but right next to the elevator! Thankfully, it was pretty quiet so it was not an issue. The only noise was the typical doors slamming in the morning and the traffic on Meridian Ave. If you're sensitive to traffic noise, request a room facing west! Our room was spacious and comfortable. We did find a cricket in the bathroom in the morning! We're not sure how a cricket found its way to the 5th floor of a hotel, but at least he was quiet overnight! We used the digital check out option, but the lady working the front desk when we left was super nice and very helpful. We would give the hotel 4.5 stars, but since that's not an option, we chose 5 instead of 4! We would definitely stay here again.

Tried to stay at Holiday Inn Airport OKC last night and it went awful. Room we booked online turned out not to be available upon arrival, all though I booked it 4 hours in advance no one thought to contact me to let me know; “it was dirty and not available”. A lesser room at standard rate was offered to me in lieu of. Upon stating this wasn’t going to be enough I was told my service would be rejected. I am an Amex holder, A United States marine corps veteran and had to find my family another hotel and now will also have to fight for a week to get a refund on my cancelled visit. After, a room that was unavailable was offered for reservations, upon arriving it wasn’t and a lesser option at normal price was offered instead: that would be a bait and switch tactic and past that, they could have called me in advance to let me know so I could find proper accommodations.. Lucky we did, not sure I’ll ever stay with your group again.

We have been members of the Priority Club for years. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times- that being said we checked in last night with the most unfriendly staff we have encountered in our Holiday Inns around the US. As we were leaving this morning- same type rude and unfriendly type staff. (Shift change so different people) Don’t get me wrong- room was perfect. But it’s over shadowed by poor service. I think we all need to use the words “thank you” more or at least speak.
