I recently stayed at the Marilis Hill Resort Hotel in Antalya and while the location and I was disappointed by the lack of free Wi-Fi and the quality of drinks at the night bar. In today's world, access to Wi-Fi is often essential for travelers, and not having free Wi-Fi can be a significant inconvenience. Additionally, the drinks at the night bar were not up to the standard I was expecting, which detracted from my overall enjoyment of the hotel. While the Marilis Hill Resort Hotel has many positive aspects, these issues have left me with the impression that I would not choose to stay there again. However, I do hope that the hotel management takes these criticisms into consideration and makes improvements in these areas for future guests.

You can eat all you can for three meals, but you won’t have the urge to take photos and share them. The same ingredients are served in different ways, which is not satisfactory. The tableware is not very clean. You need to prepare boiled water and wipe it with a napkin before use. safe to use. Dinner is from 6:30 to 8:30, and before 7:30, it is basically full and there are no vacant tables. You have to wait for someone to eat and vacate the seat before the second round of dining. It is a bit rushed to eat, and the opening time for dining is too short. When I was picking up the meal, there was a puddle of water on the ground, which made me slip and almost fall to the ground. Later, the waiter came to help me stand up, but just took a triangular cone and put it on the puddle of water, reminding customers not to step on it, and did not deal with it immediately. Dry, let the floor dry naturally. The room is very comfortable and the air conditioner is very effective: the balcony is equipped with a drying rack, which is very convenient for hanging swimsuits to dry; the shower head is super large, and the washing is invincible; the refrigerator is also very effective, which is rare in a Turkish hotel. The beach is not connected to the hotel, and the shuttle bus goes to the exclusive beach of the hotel every hour. In order to control the time conveniently, we finally decided to drive by ourselves and follow the shuttle bus to the exclusive beach. The beach is super beautiful and must be experienced. There are glasses of water in the hotel and on the exclusive beach for everyone to use freely, which is very considerate. There is a show time performance at 9:30 every night. The theme of the first night is a spinning dance performance. The audience is full, but the dance troupe arrives late at 10:00 in disheveled clothes. There are residents before the show begins. I yelled at the scene and left. The performance started at 10:05 and ended at 10:30, but it was worth seeing the orthodox men's spinning dance (about 10 minutes non-stop), and there was no need to pay extra tips.

The hotel definitely does not deserve 5 stars, it is a hotel that spends everything, the food is tasteless, tasteless, saltless, the same things are served every day, there is no meat, no variety, the head chef has a careless attitude, I talked to him, the boss said he gives these, he said we do this too, chicken and turkey, the rooms are not cleaned every day.

I would like to thank everyone, especially Mr. Oğuzhan. We had a wonderful holiday break. Especially the food was delicious. They were very suitable for Turkish taste and prepared with great care. The rooms were perfect as it is already a new hotel. If you say interest, it was there until the end. Bayram special turkish night and those flavors were incredible. Good luck to the young people who work with all their devotion in that hotel.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! The Marilis Hill Resport & Spa is definitely not a resort and the Spa stinks! We arrived in the evening, with the hotel knowing our arrival time. There was 11 of us and we had booked 5 rooms. None of the rooms were available when we arrived. They put 11 of us (only 1 child) in one room with only 1 bathroom for the first night. There was not enough bed space for all of us and 1 of the adults had to sleep on the floor! We got the keys to our rooms the next morning, from hotel staff who spoke little to no English and with the male staff behind reception being particularly rude and having no regard for our previous night ordeal. Two of the rooms upon opening the door had not been cleaned since the previous guests left so we had to get the cleaners to come back and clean the rooms! Throughout our 10 day stay, the rooms were not routinely cleaned each day, even though the sign had been up on the door. The towels were not changed and when they were, the replacements looked dirtier than the used ones. The floors were not cleaned properly, with dust and dirt on them most of the time. The bathrooms were not cleaned properly, with the sink and showers having dirt and mould build up. On the last two days, 1 of the rooms was not visited at all by the cleaners even though this was a complaint made to the staff throughout the stay! The swimming pool was definitely not clean and there was plenty of parts of the pool were tiles were missing and the dirt underneath was seen spreading in the pool. It was pointless speaking to the staff, they didn't speak or understand much English and had to use Google translate on their phones to communicate. The male staff were very rude throughout and had no regard for their guests! there were regular complaints from other guest on most days. A lady arrived on the same night with a young baby and her room was not ready either. One gust had been there for two days and the staff had given his room to a new guest whist the original one was not in the room. It was constant! The only positive was that the food during our stay was nice and we had some good variety each day!

BASICS first // Who went: two adults, two older teenage boys and a nine year old girl. How long for? One week (2-9 sept 2024) How much did it cost?: from Glasgow flying Corendon Air, including return private transfers and extra luggage, £500 each all inclusive. The headline // absolutely not 5* as you would expect it in the UK, but at the prices we paid we didn’t expect it. For us it was an upgrade from the 3* place we booked in Cyprus last year for more money. Facilities // The room: we stayed in a family room called a garden view room on lower ground. Initial impression: to get there you walk through the spa and the lower ground smells damp. However on entering the room we were delighted. We had two adjoining rooms. One with a double and single (with wardrobes, a dressing table and access to the patio / garden via glass doors and mossie net), and the other two singles and the bathroom. The main room was clean and actually beautiful. Certainly the nicest room we have ever had on a cheap all inclusive. The bathroom had a good shower, lots of power but it leaked a bit. The seal around sink and some of the edging was getting tatty. Each room had a button to press to clean room. Again, never had any such thing on a cheap holiday. After a few days we came to the conclusion it was used as a means to replace towels and toilet roll but not clean. Big negatives? Plates and glasses left in corridor for an extended period - but there were signs saying don’t take food to the room. Big positives? Air con was so good we had to ask for extra blankets The restaurant: lovely big indoor and outdoor (by the pool) area. We began the holiday eating outside but when it reached 46 in the day it was still nearly 40 at night and was too hot. Food at breakfast included salads, meats, fresh bread, eggs and some continental / Eastern European dishes. Also pancakes every day, toast, Nutella, jam etc Coffee machine and juice machine Food at lunch was an expanse of salads, plenty of fruit, usually something like chips and about 8 hot dishes like curry, goulash, stuffed peppers etc. always with fresh bread. Food at dinner was similar to lunch with an array of desserts and usually a barbecued item cooked outside. Drinks could be got from the lobby bar or from the juice / coffee machine Big negatives: fabric seats were a bit dirty at times due to food spillages and wet bums and air con wasn’t awesome Not a menu for typical Brits. I read some people saying the fruit wasn’t fresh. I actually watched them picking it one morning and adding it to the plates, before a British family turned their nose up at it. That’s just a symptom of us refusing wonky fruit in the UK. Fruit only looks UK fresh for minutes in a sweltering country. Alcoholic cocktails weren’t great. Queue for ice cream each day was massive in baking heat. No snacks that we could find unless we went to beach bar. Big positives: the dining room was lovely, and was cleaned and floor

The service is great, thet answer every question, ask if everything is okay, no problem with comunication. Room is always clean, no need to worry that something is missing, beds are very comfortable, food is great, especially live cooking at dinner. And the bar by the pool is the best drink bar!

We arrived at 10.50pm to be told our room wasn’t ready, and it would be another hour. We had been travelling for 9 hours, for this reason alone I wouldn’t book this hotel. Don’t know what the reasoning behind these room booking issues, but reading past reviews obviously a theme emerging. They kept saying hotel was full, I don’t give a toss I booked a room with a 2pm check in and it’s 11pm at night. Our room, when we eventually got in, had received a satisfactory clean, although dirty glasses and used shower gel was left behind. The dirty glasses remained for our whole stay. The room cleaning service was farcical, toilet, shower and sink weren’t cleaned during our weeks stay. There were some great staff, special mention to the day barman at the pool bar, who was friendly and offered outstanding service. The young evening barman, who spent all his time on the phone, and never cleaned tables or bar, and treated customers as an inconvenience, unless you were a young woman, not so much. Food was fine, very Turkish. Al a carte restaurant and snack bar never opened. Meals were only available for breakfast to 10.30am, lunch from 12 to 2 and dinner 6.30 to 8.30. At start of the holiday you’ll laugh at people queuing at 6.30 for dinner, go at 7.15 and you’ll realise why, lots of runny dishes with meat removed, and running out of food. Baked fish ran out at 7pm and platter of salmon removed at 6.45 pm and told it was finished. Beach was rocky, nobody bothered to clean beds or tables. Bed mattress was functional although tired. Sea was amazing. This is t a five star resort, although any one paying £1400 for a weeks all inclusive knows this. The crap check in, limited food, and sketchy service would suggest two star, and you wouldt bother. Final insult was being charged £10 an hour for late checkout to 5pm. When I couldn’t check in until over 9 hours from advertised check in time.

This is by no means a 5 star hotel, please Tripadvisor for your own reputation downgrade this hotel, we arrived at 19:30pm and got one room instead of 2 8 hours later, the man on reception was full of promises and delivered nothing. The manager has a completely nonchalant attitude and did nothing to resolve my problem, this is no way near what a resort is, it’s a hotel that is not worth the money you spend on it. Food is pretty much the same every day, we had few nights when we got freshly grilled food, no burgers but an abundance of chips. The hotel advertised a snack bar open from 11:00am and a pool side snack bar , the pool side bar opened at 19:30 every night so pointless. After waiting all night for a room we woke up late and there was nowhere in the hotel to eat, as food is only served at mealtimes and had to go outside the ‘resort’ to buy food. Not expected with an apparently five star all inclusive hotel. The manager is a joke who does nothing but sit outside and smoke and drink tea. Please avoid this place, there’s so many other hotels that are worth the money, NOT here

the marilis hotel in antalya service is very bad the indoor pool is not working resturant is not working steam water room is not working not this was not stated before we paid when trying to communicate with managers they don't respond and walk away from you not very understanding when we have paid in full for this holiday and have been fed a lie as their are many things we have paid for and that are not working and did not let us know before hand when waiting for our flight from 3pm to 10pm in the lobby they refused to turn the air con on while receptionists are sat with fans while working and we have kids getting irritated by the heat and they are refusing to turn the air-conditioning on they only turned it on for one hour and didn't turn it back on for the rest of the day even after asking many times in polite ways it is not fair we pay in full and the least we can get is honesty or an apology they do not care this hotel is bad it is not five star there is bugs in our room dirty towels when we pay for towels, blankets with blood on them overall the service is just as bad as the hotel we are charged for safe box everyday every time I try to communicate they just walk off from us

Stayed for a week, booked two rooms. One of the rooms had a completely flat mattress which was so bad we didn’t sleep all night. Told the reception staff and all he kept saying was “it’ll be changed tomorrow” - we reminded him everyday and it NEVER happened until we genuinely just gave up. Staff were rude and ignored us. Pool is dangerous - tiles on the bottom are loose. My brother sliced his toe on one of the loose tiles and this is so dangerous when they are using the same pool for activities like water volleyball. People would take the tiles out and put them to the side of the pool but staff would just chuck them back in? Plates were dirty in the restaurant, as were the cutlery. Didn’t have a single fizzy drink in the hotel because they used cheap, fake versions that were FLAT. The tables in the lobby were barely cleaned too - you’d often have to sit down while the table was covered in stains. In the restaurant, no one cleaned the table after other people were done eating, they’d just pick up the plates meaning all the crumbs were still on the table and even if you brought this to restaurant staff’s attention they’d just shrug it off which is ridiculous. Room barely got cleaned, they’d just make the bed - whereas in other five stars they would change the sheet and everything. This didn’t happen during my stay. Hotel also barely put AC on in the lobby which is ridiculous when it is the hottest month of the year - which is why everyone ends up just staying in their rooms because the corridors are so warm and so the hotel is just dead during the day. Don’t book this hotel - we saw so many better hotels in the surrounding neighbouring which are truly worth the five stars. This was a 2 star and that is pushing it.

If you really want to stay in a 5* Hotel avoid this Hotel. Rooms are not clean, we noticed dirty bathroom with hairs on the shower, dirty mirrors, dirty linen and towels upon arrival. When asked to clean the room properly, the only thing housekeepind did was to mop the floor for a "fresh smell", no linen was changed, only towels. The food doesn't taste fresh at all. Tables are not clean, there are patches on the cutlery (not being cleaned properly) The Hotel doesn't look like in the picture, I would rate it as a 3* Hotel. Regarding the beach... you'll need to take an old bus which is scheduled every hour. The beach is very rocky and dirty, full of plastic and cigarettes...if you care about your confort, chose another hotel.

We have been staying in the hotel for four nights and the sheets have not been changed or cleaned even once. We go to reception every time for blankets and towels. They remember to change the towels for us. The tiles on the pool floor are broken and hurt the soles of the feet. The hotel staff cannot speak English. There is no explanation for the names of the dishes. I saw dirt and insects in the vegetables of the hotel, so I don't like to eat salad and vegetables here
