Premier Inn Birmingham Oldbury (M5, Jct2)

Good servise and good restaurant

The restaurant wasn't open on Tuesday evening. I was 40 minutes waiting for breakfast on Wednesday morning. I ordered after 10 minutes and after 30 minutes no food had arrived so advised the waitress that I couldn't wait any longer. I expect more when paying £166 per night.

The hotel rooms were dated, spiders in the rooms, the receptionist was none existent for 20 minutes, when we arrived, when she appeared she looked stressed and wired! We were told the restaurant was closed but would be open for breakfast??? we had to pay extra for which the receptionist could not tell us why?

As always, the Premier Inn delivers exactly what it is supposed to. Great value, cleanliness and a super bed! My first stay at PI Oldbury and I had an enjoyable stay and will definitely be booking again Sampled the attached restaurant and had two lovely meals. Totally impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of the Restaurant team, in particular Gemma who was super fast and friendly. Despite a busy shift which also involved training her team, she remembered me and my order from the previous night. Great prawn cocktail and Makhani curry which I had on both nights. Thanks Gemma

Breakfast was lovely. Very tasty and arrived quickly. Just what we needed. Excellent service from Gemma in the restaurant areas. Travelling from London to the Lakes this was an excellent place to break up our journey. Thanks for looking after us.

Gemma was very welcoming on arrival and brilliant throughout our stay would definitely recommend staying here. Had everything we needed throughout our stay the room was clean and towels were fresh. Great experience the pub next door is top draw

The beds are lovely and comfy I really slept well.The rooms are far to hot and no Air con at this hotel. The bell is not working on reception so ur waiting while staff just chat in the back. Breakfast was a real disappointment one member off staff running round on her own, no pastries left, had to keep asking for stuff.no sugar,no juices filled, no cutlery, no glasses,no small plates then food hasn’t hot when served.Very disappointed

No one on reception waiting 30 minutes, a gentleman in front of us has been here for 45 minutes. No way to check in, phones not being answered, buzzers ignored no sign of life anywhere. Traveling for business and now having to find another hotel

A lovely stay at this hotel. Can’t fault the cleanliness and the professionalism of the staff. I would like to say that Zhneava is an excellent member of staff and nothing is too much trouble (I hope you enjoy your birthday) Will be back to stay in the future.
