Ich traf um 22 Uhr ein, nach langer Autofahrt. Die Unterstützung des Nachtportiers war sehr, sehr aufmerksam. Er ging mit mir auf die Strasse um einen Tipp für die Parkplatzsuche zu zeigen. Leider war der Hotelparkplatz bereits besetzt, aber war kein Problem. Frühstücks-Buffet war gut und wurde aufmerksam nachgefüllt. Cappuccino vom Automaten schmwckte köstlich. Leider, deswegen nur 3 Punkte war das in die Zimmerecke verbaute Bett sehr schmal. Ich bin 1.85 groß als nicht so riesig. Mit dem Rücken lag ich bei der Wand und die ausgestreckte Hand landete an der Nachttisch Lampe.. Ich habe mich nicht beschwert. Leider gab es keinen Rotwein am Zimmer und die Gststätte hatte um die Zeit bereits geschlossen. Würde dort gerne wieder nächtigen aber vorher die beiden Punkte ansprechen.

Wir haben das Trend Hotel für einen Wochenendtrip zu einem Mittelaltermarkt gebucht. Es war alles in Ordnung, das Zimmer okay, Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut mit Buffet, auf dem für jeden etwas dabei war. Die Angestellten waren alle sehr nett, Maske beim Frühstück (trotz 3G!!) nervt langsam, aber was sollen sie machen - ist ja nicht für ewig, nächstes Jahr ist das wahrscheinlich wieder normal. Das einzige - ich würde beim nächsten Mal, falls es das gibt, nicht mehr das hintere Eckzimmer haben wollen, das war schon sehr dunkel mit nur einem kleinen Fenster. Das Zimmer an sich war aber gut und sauber, ich habe nur gerne etwas Licht im Zimmer. Parken ist kostenlos direkt beim Hotel.

I can't say I was overly impressed with this hotel, apart from its location close to the lake and nearby shops. It's quite old fashioned and in need of a more modern image, or a rustic theme. As you come into the reception, there's a strange medieval type dining table and chairs. The patterned wallpaper doesn't complement the mixture of modern artwork for sale on the walls either. I was staying there with a disabled family member and because the door to the small bar was too narrow for the wheelchair, we were placed in a side room which had all the atmosphere of a railway station waiting room. Having arrived after 9.00 pm, the kitchen was closed and my evening meal had to be a bowl of Bombay Mix. The rooms are clean, but again very dated. No coffee/tea making facility or bottled water. The mini bar has water, beer and wine for purchase though. The 'disabled room' my cousin shared with her daughter was positively awful. Small, no room for the wheelchair and walking frame and a view onto a nearby laurel hedge, which made it very dark. The restaurant is nice, although expensive, and the best views to the lake are from the few tables for two in the 'orangery' area. What we found particularly annoying was the staff had clearly been told to 'look busy at all times' and when they weren't serving, they were whipping off table cloths and laying for breakfast, then changing it back to dinner etc. The breakfast was fine and there was a nice variety of bread and rolls. If you want smoked salmon, you have to ask for it when they're not busy. We were three people and the waitress gave us a coffee pot that would have been just enough for two. Small details, but this hotel is marketed as 4 star - it didn't feel like it. The hotel wasn't overly busy and on my last day I asked if I could have a later check out (just before 3.00 pm instead of 11.00 am). I was told this was not possible, but I could have it until midday. No help to me at all. It's not an unpleasant place to stay, but not memorable in any way.

With his best friends you can just like to go well. Most importantly, if you want to let the distant year passes before the calendar change. A evening at Burgdorfs is perfect for it. Here you cook without additives and bindings, all yourself and freshly prepared and not crushed with TK products or bag cleaners, it is served at the point and not overgrown. Love for food and passion to make the guest happy, you taste and look around his like. This input in the kitchen is not obvious and ensures that it is different in Burgdorf's hold. After the four walks, we rounded the dinner with the excellent herbal liqueur 'Herb Rudel' and went over to a relaxed evening with delicious rum of the brand 'Cocorange'. Beverages are described below, I didn't know the great thing before. Glutamat gaumes are probably not happy here. Whoever wants to be in the heart of his lady or to make a nice evening with the best Buddys, should write Burgdorfs up to the list. As a guam smash there was: - pre-food sheep cheese with cubic kernels and oil, wild herb salad and roast bread, smoked antenna with potato pumping nickel and caramelized grapes - intermittent cream soup of smoked pastinace with chips from Cartoffel & Pancetta - main corridor Breast and Kelly of Oldenburger Ente and Steak of Roastbeef with pepper sauce, pepper beans and potato gratin - Nightingale fresh baked apple strudel filled with roasted almonds, Crown beans and Marzipan on Vanille sauce Drinks: Cocorange Rum is a premium Rum from the Caribbean, stored in a bacon of eggwood and refined with fresh cocoa nuts and orange shells and is beautifully presented with great cocoa note and soft sweet fruits. The orange noodle and decent wooden noodles round the flavour. For long, you taste the cocoa noodle still in your mouth. Hirsch Rudel is a great herbal liqueur made of 31 wild herbs and hanged. The deep brown liquor has nuances of coffee, anis, caramel and chocolate. Vanilla, a malt sweet and cheesenuts are also tasteful. The service is similar to the food and can only be described as excellent. The interior was completely renewed this year and the restoration is radiated in a new and very skillful glance. 5 out of 5 points here are a must.

Wir haben 3 DZund 1 EZ gebucht, die Zimmer waren sauber, und gut eingerichtet, die Betten sehr gut. Die Duschkabine etwas klein aber ausreichend. Wir hatten im Restaurant einen Tisch reserviert, die Speisekarte bietet für jeden etwas, auch Regionales. Das Essen war klasse, der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, das Frühstücksbufett vielfältig und sehr lecker. Ein Kaffeevollautomat in Selbstbedienung mit großer Kaffeeauswahl rundet das Ganze perfekt ab. Ein familiengeführtes Hotel mut tollem Restaurant und sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis...
