Nicholas Park Hotel

We had the best time here, a lovely chilled family vibe. The staff are courteous and helpful. The food is varied and plentiful. The grounds are beautiful and an added bonus is the cats on site, friendly, healthy and adorable. We had fresh towels most days but in 2 weeks the beds didn't get changed and the rooms not cleaned thoroughly, that's the only gripe really. I wouldn't hesitate to return though.

Booked direct through Durmus. Advised of our room choices. One room wasn't quite right, 2 days later he moved mum to a room with a better view. Durmus also would go out of his way to ensure my disabled dad, an amputee would have an easy access room for pool and restaurant when he decides to travel again Always happy to accolade guest. Food, really lovely, typical Turkish, which I love. Harder for fussy daughter. For a cheap get away, the hotel served our needs. Easy walk to the town to!

Just awaiting our transfer now, had a fantastic week here. Weather was amazing and not overcrowded round pool "which is cold" like the reviews previously once your in its fine lol. Food was plentiful, something for everyone. Rooms are basic but have everything you need our cleaner was fab 👌. Would defo return 😀. Plenty of near by shops selling everything. Also trip to oludeniz not far ..taxi was cheap.

Very tired and in need of a total overhaul in some rooms. Best thing about this hotel is the food and staff. We have stayed here twice once in 2022 and again in Oct 2024. The 1st time we came we loved it, the room was in the far top block on 2nd floor, it was OK but the showers were tiny. This time we were in one of the rooms under the pool and it was terrible, Ill fitting doors with big gaps around frame when door was shut, extremely noisy as was used as a main thoroughfare and for all the family sunset photos,mismatched hand painted furniture, tiny tv for size of room, sewage smell most days, very shabby and had had a leak in ceiling at some point and had come down the wall and stained the wallpaper, they had cut another piece and just plonked over it not even matched up or the same colour.. Sheets weren't changed the whole week. Mattress needed replacing as was very worn and springy, had back ache every morning. Unless the rooms are updated I won't be back to stay again.

Came here in the October half term after reading the brilliant reviews. Thought we would try it when it's not so hot (ie August) and it worked perfectly. The days are a more bearable 25 degrees and the nights so much easier to sleep. The hotel was great, the staff all so friendly. There was a slight issue first night with them giving us a family room (with a horrible 2nd room up a spiral staircase which would have caused issues for privacy for teens and also danger for younger children) however the reception and manager agreed to move us to the 2 separate rooms we originally booked) Rooms were clean and perfectly fine as well as the food perfectly acceptable and you could always find something different as it did get a bit repetitive. Entertainment was ok and we made so many new friends at the hotel as well. Only downside is the pool which is freezing and really hits you when you get in however after 5 mins it's fine and actually makes you feel better when you get out. Town is only a 5 mins downhill walk and we would get a cab back (150 lira) also would not recommend walking it in the dark due to cars. Some nice restaurants (MCKebab is not a typical take away and has lovely seating upstairs) lots of friendly bars as well. I would say take pounds as you can change to lira when out here for a better rate (all shops/beauty/tattoo/clothes all want pounds and restaurants and cans lira) makes it easier as you barter for prices when you don't then have to work out exchange rate. Overall we had a great time and will be coming back next October with more Family.

Mixed views of this hotel Positives: Beautiful views and good location, lots to do in the area. The room was large and clean and public areas always kept clean. A lot of choice of food for dinner. Staff really friendly and helpful. Pool slide, fun for the kids. Coffee really nice. Negatives: Rooms a bit dated and in need of some repair, only bar is the Pool bar which isn’t very nice in the evening ie plastic chairs etc. felt a bit UK club house - that was probably the most disappointing part of the holiday for me. No proper ice cream and no ice cream available at dinner. Entertainment pretty non existent (bingo and karaoke) although we were at the end of season so maybe why. Breakfast could have been better. Swimming pools freezing, but ok for quick cool off. Drinks, limited soft drink options, but my main gripe is, apart from at dinner, all drinks served in plastic cups. I understand in the day but at night it’s a shame. No music playing in the bar or lobby, only in outside area. Overall, nice 3* hotel but wouldn’t return.

Home today after a wonderful week away. Last visited this hotel 14years ago and a lot has changed but one thing that has not is quality. Food was good throughout and with so many options. We still ate dinner out 5 nights this was not due to the food in hotel rather us just wanting to go out. Only a 10 minute walk into resort center although a wee uphill walk back would not suit everyone especially in summer Very clean and the staff worked hard ensuring a great level and standard of cleanliness all day. Would definitely recommend and would most likely return should I go back to this area of turkey which I have visited on several occasions

Good hotel,food and facilities ok nice pool areas and stunning views, but really need to inforce the no smoking law and stop people smoking in the indoor bar area as its unfair for those who dont smoke and suffer with asthma, for this reason i would not come back or recommend to family or friends.
