Customer service is very good. However, this time, we asked them to check if there were any foods that they disliked, allergies, etc., and both of the things that we told them about were included. You shouldn't have asked about this, right? That's what I thought. Also, there are quite a few dead insects in the pool. I guess it can't be helped since it's outside. I think it would be better to watch the time and scoop it up with a net. The child felt unwell.

The bathroom was also large and nice. I didn't know about the private beach, so I'd like to use it next time I go.

I used it with three friends. The extra bed was arranged very nicely in the room. It was very helpful to have amenities, room clothes, indoor clothes, and cold weather coats when walking outside. The Onomichi ramen that I was able to get for free at night was very delicious. It was a blissful moment to be able to eat egg ice cream after warming up in the bath and bedrock bath.

Bella Vista Spa & Marina Onomichi is a small luxury resort hotel with just 44 total rooms. This area is known for ship building; the original property served as a serviced guest house for people involved in the industry beginning in 1973. The present property was established in 2007, offering rooms with ocean views and a spa. The property grounds is quite vast - it's perched on a hill overlooking the stunning Seto Inland Sea and the Bella Vista Marina at the water's edge. There are walkways throughout that offer nice vantage points by which to appreciate the scenic beauty of this area of Japan. The outdoor terrace stretches directly from the main indoor common area and has uninhibited views of the Seto Inland Sea. In the middle of the terrace is a stretch of water that appears to flow directly into the ocean (even though the Ocean is quite a ways away) - the water is less than 10cm deep and isn't meant for swimming; it's strictly for show, and it's probably the most Instragrammable aspect of the resort. And, especially in the Summer time, you'll have the ability to enjoy the infinity pool as well as partake in numerous activities (both onsite and outside the property), such as a beach BBQ and island hopping. There's also a ribbon chapel on the property grounds that has won numerous design awards, and I'd imagine that it would serve as a wonderful venue for weddings. In the resort itself, there's a nice spa facility as well as three different restaurants serving Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine (using local ingredients and recipes.) We stayed in the Panorama Terrace Suite, which was quite large 100m² and the third from the top category room at Bella Vista. The best room is the Bella Vista Maisonette Spa Suite, but we passed on it because we generally avoid Maisonette-style layouts, while The Bella Vista is similar to the Panorama Terrace Suite, except that it has it has an open air bath with a view of the Ocean; The Bella Vista was already booked when we tried to reserve it. While our room was spacious, nicely appointed and clean, it was showing its age somewhat. It could probably benefit from a refurbishment within the next few years, especially given the room rates that they charge here. There is a dearth of power outlets as well, which is further evidence that it was built more than a decade ago. The room has a stand-alone bath tub, but it's not Onsen (natural hot springs.) In fact, there's no longer Onsen anywhere on site - supposedly, Onsen stopped flowing about 7 years ago, and that was that. It's a shame, given that there is "Spa" in the property's name, but a Japanese Spa resort without Onsen is a bit of a misnomer if you ask me. Not their fault, but them's the facts. I used this for my daughter's wedding and we had a wonderful wedding. The staff were all cheerful and the wedding was very lively. The food was also delicious and I think everyone, including my family and my children's friends, enjoyed it. It was a wedding that will become a really good memory. Thank you very much.

This is my third time staying here. This time I stayed in a view bath suite. It was nice to be able to see the ocean from the bath. However, it was a shame that there was no terrace seating. I chose sushi for dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious sake and sushi. For breakfast, I chose Japanese food. The buffet-style breakfast was also very delicious.

This is my third visit. The staff's service is getting better and better. Prices are rising in these days. It's the same here. For dinner, I had my favorite Soubo. First, the luxurious closed menu was changed to a typical single plate. Until now, there weren't many options for meals, but now there are recommended optional ingredients and a final option of sea bream chazuke. I ordered it because I was there, so it ended up being more expensive than before. Since I went again in the same season, the excitement of the salted sea bream grilled for the second time faded. However, the deliciousness of the food remains the same. For lunch, I had an ala carte menu at Eletegia, and the paella and salad there were also delicious and the service was good. For breakfast at Eletegia, the free-flow Louis Rodée was replaced with a sparkling Bella Vista. I was glad that the Onomichi ramen service and the raised floor service were still available. I wonder if they only had beach sandals in the summer? I think they also had them in the spring, but not this time. The Chinese massage here is good and I really like it. Although it is definitely one of my favorite hotels, I do get bored of it when it's not summer.

Of all the hotels I've visited recently, this was the most memorable in terms of the scenery, food, and facilities. It's not a hot spring, but it does have a large public bath and a bedrock bath, and in the summer it seems there's an outdoor pool. We were able to choose the dining area for both dinner and breakfast, so we were able to enjoy them at our leisure. In particular, at Eretegia, where we had dinner, we had a fun experience being able to see the fire in the kitchen up close. I'd like to return in the summer.

I visited on Marine Day hoping to swim in the lovely pool I had seen online. According to the staff, the hotel business was started by renovating a guesthouse belonging to a nearby shipbuilding company. I understood why it was built in such a remote location. The pool appears to be connected to the sea, and it feels great to swim in it. It makes you feel like you're on a slight trip. There are a lot of children during the day, so it's not really suitable for swimming... I don't know what I did wrong, but I stayed in a luxurious room called The Bella Vista. In addition to the spacious twin room, there was a panoramic bath room that opened to the sea, and a lot of lemons floating in the bath. There was a sofa next to it that seemed to have a special meaning. Google reviews of this hotel have mixed reviews, but one thing I can say is that the meat and fish dishes are not tasty. The vegetable dishes and salads are normal, but what can you eat with this? It's not like a hotel restaurant. I don't want to come back. (Something similar happened at a resort hotel in Mexico...) I can't believe they're setting up a wedding venue here... I worry that the guests won't be upset if the food isn't tasty. Is it a theme of firewood and bonfire grilling? It seems like they are forgetting how delicious the food is, but I worry that they are forgetting how good it tastes. The front desk staff and the guys and girls by the pool are always smiling and welcoming. I would be happy if they lowered the alcohol prices by the pool a little. I would be happy to come here once a year if it was just for the pool.

The weather was nice and the location was great. This was my second time having lunch here, and the food cooked over a wood fire was delicious. The young staff were also very friendly and helpful. The reason it's not 5 stars is because it was my wife's birthday and we asked for a whole cake, which was a real shame. If they're going to go that far with their food, I wish they'd be more particular about the cake if you preordered it. You can only preorder a whole cake, so they cut it for you, but that was just cutting it and that was a bit pointless. If they could get a perfect score in the end, it would be the best restaurant.

The best thing about this hotel is the delicious food!! I missed the delicious food and hospitality of Soubo, so I went back in the summer, three months after my first visit in the spring. There are some negative reviews compared to hotels in the same price range, such as not having a valet park, not being polite at check-in, and old facilities, but the rooms are not flashy, but they are spacious and clean, and the overall facilities are tasteful, so I don't mind. Also, I can park my car myself, and I don't like being kept waiting for an overly polite check-in, so it's not a problem. Rather, I like how the generosity that other hotels don't have is overflowing everywhere. First of all, the food is extremely delicious and luxurious. Some restaurants are stingy and charge extra for the main course, but of course they don't. They serve extremely delicious Onomichi ramen in the evening. In the morning, they have free flow Ruirodet. In the summer, you can take a cute boat to a nice private beach island. Beer and ice cream after the bath. Ganbanyoku. All of these are included in the accommodation fee. They let you enjoy the facilities even before you check in. I would never go back unless the food is satisfying and clean, which is my preference. This is my favorite hotel and I would love to stay here every season if possible to enjoy the delicious food. The seasonal fruit cocktails available at the bar are also delicious.

We used it to celebrate my wife's birthday. This is the second time we've used it. Looking out over the Seto Inland Sea from our room on the sixth floor, it felt like we were not in Japan. There was also a mini concert held in collaboration with Frank Muller, and we had a very elegant time. The food at Eletegia was delicious, and we really liked the bath and the bedrock bath. We had a very satisfying time.
