There seemed to be a bus from Shin-Onomichi, but I took a taxi and arrived at the hotel in about 15 minutes. Take the elevator from the road and there is a reception on the 2nd floor. The room was very large and had a good water view. The JR station, restaurant, small shopping building, etc. were also nearby and it was in a good location. Anyway, it was cold so I used the hotel Italian for dinner. It was my first time with lemon-flavored carbonara, but it was delicious. I was impressed that the friendly staff who served in Italian the night before at the breakfast restaurant the next day said that thank you for using the restaurant last night.

Stayed 1N. This is a very small hotel. It is located facing the water and beautiful sakura trees. The lobby is located at the back street and the restaurant is at the front of the building. Check-in was quick and the front desk personnel were hospitable. I was assigned a room facing the water and the sakura trees which were in full bloom. The room is typically small by Japanese standards. Only 1 small hard pillow, firm bed. Strong Wifi signal. Breakfast was a semi-buffet - the mains came in a tray and the breads, cereal and juices were self-service. The owner is an elderly gentleman who took the trouble to meet and greet guests at breakfast. No on-site onsen. You'll need to take a taxi to the nearest bathhouse.

El Mochilero is a five star hostel, it is clean, there is more than ample space in the rooms, each guest has access to her /his own locker with it's own key where you will find several towels folded in a the manner of five star hotels in a very cute basket, there are also earplugs in each basket. The room I was staying in had four beds and there are two other rooms on the second floor. Very clean bathrooms with a bathtub. But what sets El Mochilero apart from other hostels is that it is family owned by a warm, caring and hospitable family.I felt right at home with Senora Carolina, su mother and her brother Percy.I was hosted as a member of the family and this will stay with me. There is a hearty breakfast served in the morning with orange juice and coffee that will sustain you through the day. I cannot thank enough this family for the way I have been hosted. And I hope to see them again.

I used it for one night with a friend. Considering the price and room quality, it seems to be the best choice nearby. A 1-minute walk from the hostel allows you to enter the east shopping street of Onomichi and the entrance to the Senkoji Ropeway on the same street. It takes about 10 minutes from Onomichi Station to the hostel, but you can get there soon if you walk with the surrounding scenery. The accommodation key can be checked in at another nearby accommodation 'Onomichi Minato Hall'. Check out is finished by putting it in the mailbox under the mansion. Pretty neighborhood, good accommodation was well used.

Super recommended. The location is very good, very close to the mountains and the sea, in the commercial street. The room we booked feels like it can live in two large and two small rooms. The hot spring is small and exquisite, and it is open to the public, but there are not many people. There are also optional shampoo conditioners and homemade smoothies are also fun. There are not many dishes in the restaurant downstairs, but every dish is delicious. I ate it all night. The parking lot is 990 a night, the one directly opposite the hotel.

I spent a night here with my gf and it was a marvelous experience. They offer a luxurious dinner and breakfast experience that uses locally caught seafood and ingredients that will made your stay very pleasant. Located in a quiet area away from the city's hustle and bustle but still within walking distance from the local station and seaport. The staff were very hospitable and very thoughtful. The room offered a traditional Japanese bathroom with a tub made from cypress that gives a pleasant aroma when bathing. It has a nice outdoor view that you can enjoy from comfort of your own bathtub. The rooms a nicely appointed and have a 5-star experience that you can only experience at this ryokan. I would definitely recommend staying here if you ever visit Onomichi!

It was better than I thought.
First of all, it is clean. And thank you for checking in at 12 o'clock.
Above all, I was grateful to me as a businessman who is not good at lively places because I can eat breakfast in my room. I felt the service that trusted customers everywhere.
The disadvantage is the thinness of the hotel walls. It was a pity that I woke up with the voice of the child next door. It's summer vacation, so it can't be helped.

I stayed in a single room with him for one night. The car stopped at a nearby shopping mall parking lot for 700 yen a night. I got a PET bottle of water at the front desk😊 The room was happy to see the Shinkansen in the corner room 🚄 The room was also large, and the bed was also 2 people, and I could sleep slowly. The pillow was good with a height. I thought it was convenient with a range 🍱 I think it was a hotel with no complaints. It was a very helpful hotel at an affordable hotel. I would like to stay if I come to Fukuyama again 👍🏠

Not much to say, I am very satisfied. It is quite satisfactory for a hotel I have stayed in Japan. The bed is very comfortable and the space is large enough. Fukuyama Castle is right next to it and you can also go sightseeing. Although there is nothing to see, it is recommended.

２ Use twin room in ３ days. The bathroom was divided by glass and the bathroom was a wide 々 with a washroom on the bus. The room is large and the desk is wide 々, so it is enough to work and work on a personal computer. There are USB power and outlets on the bedside １, and it is OK to go and go while charging other devices, of course. Because it was a corona, the meal was avoided by the hotel. Ssayhello3I used a female-only dormitory this time, but it was clean and the futon was fluffy. The two directions are full windows and the view is outstanding. Since I went to the public bath, I didn't use the shower, but the kitchen was clean and very cute. There is an attached cafe as a common space, but it is comfortable and customers can bring it in. With a cup of tea brewed in the kitchen, I was able to relax while enjoying the scenery. The only difficulty I felt was that the stairs were tight when I inadvertently drank in the shopping district and went home. .. ..

GGuest UserIt is in an extremely convenient location, 200 meters from Onomichi Station, and right next to Shimanami rental bicycles and the ferry terminal. ●Room Although compact, it has a functional structure that does not feel cramped. The darkness of the light is a little bothersome at first, but once you get used to it, it's no problem. ●Amenities 2 bottles of water free of charge. Apparently it's water from a well, and it tastes good. Shampoo and body soap also have an addictive smell. This is a brand I've never heard of before, and it has a scent that you don't often find in Japan. It was the best bath time. ●Breakfast Fresh vegetables and a variety of dressings. Bread and croissants with a solid wheat texture. And delicious citrus jam. The juice is also delicious. And the sausage, bacon, and potato sauté with eggs is a perfect balance and satisfies you. It was a great meal, with great attention to detail in every ingredient and taste. ●There are 3 laundry machines, 600 yen for 120 minutes including drying. Free coffee and cookies are available in the laundry room. The cookies are sprinkled with Belgian cinnamon and are addictingly delicious. A fairly high quality hotel. When I made the reservation, I thought the price was a little high, but after staying there, I was quite satisfied. Recommended.

RResort45967421506This is a wonderful hotel, unfortunately we were put into the smallest room, one that was so small and filled with unusable furniture that there was no space for one guest let alone two. Getting around meant one person had to stay on the bed while the other crawled to the sink or shower room. The room was so tiny that staying in it was a constant source of tension, the kind of tension that can ruin a vacation. It was so small, it was almost impossible to step into the room and move aside so you could close the door behind you. There is a similar problem maneuvering into the shower. So if you want to stay in this hotel definitely ask not to be put in room 214. It's torture. Management would do well to remove the bed, the nightstand, the chair (which cannot be used because it has to be crammed so close to the small bed), and the small table next to the chair that also cannot be used. Replace the furniture with tatami, futons and a couple of pads to sit on. Now, moving on from the agitation of being sentenced to Room 214, this hotel has a lot going for it. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The hotel and the Onomichi train station share the same building -- a brand new building -- so as soon as you step off the train, you're at your hotel. Also, the building is completely soundproof. You will not hear or feel trains rumbling by or any noise from the bus and car traffic from in front of the hotel. The rooms have cathedral ceilings, not just high ceilings but vaulted ceilings, which I'm sure would have felt luxurious had we not been stuck in Room 214. The rooms also have high windows that give you a lot of ambient light and, I'm sure, great views from some of the rooms. Before being pointed to your room, you are brought to an amenity counter and allowed to take as many packets of luxury face washes, night creams and other cosmetics as you desire. A N'espresso machine and coffee capsules await you in your room. Once again, this is a wonderfully charming and modern hotel in a wonderfully charming and funky city. We plan to return to Onomichi when it is not so hot -- and stay in this hotel. But we'll ask for a larger room.
