We stayed at the Mirjana Rastoke for 3 nights as a base for visiting Plitvice lakes, which is about a 30 minute drive from the hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold food and we ate at the hotel every night which was great value for money, pizza was especially delicious. There is a good selection of wine, beer and cocktails available all at reasonable prices. The hotel is situated on the main road but we found some lovely walks around the area straight from the hotel door. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay to explore the area.

After Plitvice Lakes, stayed in Huistina for one night. It is more like a hotel than a bed and breakfast. The swimming pool is very suitable for the age of elementary school students. Wi-Fi is only available in public areas, but it is also great in the room. I used a bungalow room. When I opened the door, the wood in the room tasted very good. Our lovely host Ana welcomed us on our arrival. It was clean and cosy. Location is excellent; it is close to Plitvice lakes but also very peaceful. We had enough parking place and also had a shop across the street and restourant. What is also great is the fact that we had plenty of adrenalin parks nearby for active vacation! Very good price for the value. :)
