We came into town for a wedding. All of the day staff we interacted with were so kind and wonderful. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and they were very helpful if we had any questions. Check-in was quick and easy. The woman working in the dining room was an absolute joy, and kept the food area extremely clean.
The woman working the desk early in the morning, however, not so nice. My husband came down to seek out some coffee, and she was extremely short with him. I came down later to ask about the pool, and she was short with me as well.
We were glad to see the manager who relieved her was another kind, professional employee.
Well done with putting the staff that are assets in the positions with the most frequent guest interactions. They really made our stay a wonderful experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
My only negative was the room condition. The bathroom had a missing corner/soap holder in the shower. Also, it appears lights needed to be added above our beds, and had not been placed. However, the areas were not painted and looked like work needed to be completed.

This was a first stay for us at a Comfort Inn & Suites, a Choice Hotel, and I am sure we will stay with them again. There have been many improvements with the current location and ongoing renovations and our experience was entirely positive. We travel often and appreciate value and quality. The highlights of our stay included: overall cleanliness, bright and refreshing decor, and a delicious hot breakfast. We believe the most important factor in the hospitality industry is the employees who interact with the guests: Michael and Bridget were professional, knowledgeable, personable and delightful. They made such a positive addition to our stay.

We were pleased with our quick stay at this out-of-the way hotel. It is close enough to Charlottesville to get back in town before the activities started for the day, but far enough away to be reasonably priced on a busy university weekend. The room we stayed in smelled fresh was clean and the lobby had obviously been upgraded recently (even though it was functional to say the least). The hotel is pet-friendly, but we were not impacted by either noise, nor smell.

Great stay. Remodeled rooms were very clean. No tv directory so had to scroll through all the shows. Takes a bit for each page to load. Front desk said there was a directory/menu on channel 8, but there was not a guide on any station.
