Juanedu Suites

My wife and I have been coming to our timeshare in Aruba for the past twenty years and this year we stayed over a day to get a better airfare. Rather than spend hundreds of dollars just for one night at a fancy hotel we stayed at Juanedu Suites and were blown away at how nice it is. It doesn’t have beach access and it’s not in the “tourist” area but for the money it is quite a bargain. It was very quiet and the private pool was delightful. It’s very close to the airport so you can relax on the day you leave. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The suite itself was cozy with a little kitchenette, a breakfast table, beautiful marble floors, two queen size comfortable beds. and a small but amazing bathroom. I highly recommend this place if you’re in a Friday to Friday timeshare and want to stay s day or two to get a better airfare or to just stay a little while longer in Aruba without spending high hotel rates.
Riu Palace Aruba - All Inclusive

Pool / bar. Great drinks, not weak at all, good variety. Would appreciate a menu and better cups. While I admire the idea of going green, I sure do miss straws. Music and pool staff were excellent, attentive, great personalities! Pool and deck were clean. Beach scene. Not overly crowded but not sp**** either. Lots of kids on the palace side, as expected. Arrived at beach at 6:30 for a good choice of palapas. Ugh. Sand is white and clean. Even though we were pretty sure there were non-guests using palapas, the Beach guys worked super hard to accommodate guests. Restaurants. Nautilus for steak dinner. Food was good and service was slow. Buffet was always excellent. The staff offers a happy applause upon opening its doors day. Seriously. They all stand and clap as you enter. They’re lovely! Asian restaurant was seated at capacity and rightfully so. Food was excellent and service was perfect. Wine choices are limited to one white and one red, but both were adequate. Italian restaurant was excellent. Tiramisu was yummy. Entertainment. Our room was on the third floor, just above the disco area. Loud music and dancing was great and ended before midnight. Sometimes we watched and sometimes we listened from our room. Sports bar / snack cafe. Unique choices, yummy desserts at coffee bar, ping pong and pool available. One of the pool tables needs replaced. Sunsets from our balcony were beautiful. Sunsets everywhere here are stunning. Our room was large, clean, bed was king and quite comfortable. Great tv, a/c, and water pressure. ******s. Don’t recommend any of them and we visited five. The ******s were empty, but clean. No one was winning, and Minimums were overall low. Tradewinds shop in hotel was lovely. If you don’t want to venture out, this all-inclusive is perfect.
Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort

Really loved staying here! The room was equipped with a sofa bed, and king bed as well as microwave, 2 fridges, toaster, coffee maker, electric stove top and cutlery. You could easily order room service and even get groceries and cook for yourself if you were staying for many days. The best thing about this hotel is that it gives you access to their private flamingo island. They pick you up at the adults Renaissance hotel in a speedboat by the Starbucks and take you over. Lovely stay and everyone was very accommodating! Would highly recommend but be aware that they do not have beach access for that would recommend staying more inland where hotel district is.
