This was the first time I have ever arrived to a hotel in the Caribbean a full 2 hours after check in time and was told my room wasn't ready, despite checking in online...Completely unacceptable and the hotel did not care at all. I talked to multiple guests who also had this issue. They have 5 restaurants that do not take reservations. In our experience 1 was almost always closed, either actually closed, or closed for a "special event". That left 4 restaurants on a first come first served basis for everyone in the resort with beepers for those who didn't get in. The restaurants can host a maximum of 50 people at a time each.....do the math, this means a bunch of people will not be able to eat at these restaurants and will have to do the buffet. So basically if you want to eat at one of these restaurants you need to show up super early and wait, super fun. The pool closes really early, I don't understand how other resorts are able to stay open later with more pools when this one has to close so early.....Oh and the generator test that's supposed to take one hour at the hottest time of the day but instead actually takes 2+ hours with the only notice being on the elevator wall is also super fun(zero electricity except for lights during the test)... The beach is ok. I've been to better in the Caribbean. They also advertise "balconies" which some rooms have....but others have such a tiny balcony its actually funny. Like, you can't even step foot on the balcony and fit. Also, currently in 2024 there is massive construction on either side of the resort. The only plus this resort has going for it is that it is on Aruba which is an amazing island....but do yourself a favor...get an air bnb or another all inclusive instead of this place. The staff was really nice but kind apathetic which I kinda understand considering the management of this property is so terrible. Like I mentioned, multiple issues with our stay and management was not to be seen. We will be back to Aruba, but not to this resort.
