Ocean East Resort Club

Super location with 4 restaurants within walking distance. Nice pool & hot tub. However for many a Murphy bed would not be ideal. Love the kitchen and balcony. Not all rooms have a balcony.

The resort was an older resort - I use the word resort loosely. There is no elevator, our 1 bedroom unit was small but worked for two of us. The living room had 2 chairs and a couch. We wouldnt even sit on the chairs because they were so dirty. when we called the office they offered a sheet to cover them up. We just didnt use them. later in the week they did offer to clean them (because a long time owner of one of the units complained on our behalf ) but they said if they cleaned them we couldnt use them cause they would be wet. The walls had some dirt spots on them that could have very easily been wiped down but weren't. The location to the beach was amazing! The other guest all seemed to be long time owners and were very friendly! My husband and I are in our 40's and we were the youngest by about 30 years! There was construction right out front of the resort so that was very noicy and shook the resort at times. We also went during bike week (which we didnt realize til we got there) so there were bikers at all hours of the night so hard to sleep. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and my back would ache the first few hours of the mornings! I would not stay here again. I would probably look for another place down the road so it would be within walking distance of nice restaurants.

Location on the beach. Older resort but well maintained. We had one issue with a non working icemaker which was replaced within the hour. Only thing I would warn about is that the suites have a full sized bed. Not a double. Not a queen. Suite units are listed as appropriate for up no four adults. No way. Otherwise wwll maintained and quiet. Pool area is nice and security was checking and correcting behavior of kids running and throwing balls on the pool deck. I will also say that the on site restaurant was fairly priced and had very good food and service. Units are also older but very well built and quiet!

Outstanding location with a big pool area and activities Monday through Friday! We loved the 11am bingo every weekday and thoroughly enjoyed the super big hot tub in the evenings! We will absolutely return to Ocean East again.....

2 Bedroom, sleeps 6, but unit only had one bathroom. Staff was friendly and the unit clean, but unit appliances old. Beach front property, but apparently RCI exchange rooms are the ones with virtually no view of the beach or the ocean. RCI exchanges also cannot be moved to a better unit. The view from our exchange unit was the back parking lot looking at the back of a restaurant with sheds, etc.

The resort and pool are located right on the beach/ocean. Great views from our unit and the pool area. Resort had restaurants located on the property with many more walking or short drives from the resort. We had a 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit located on the 1st floor with a gated walkout patio area to the pool. The bedrooms were small and 1 bath is not enough for a 2-bedroom unit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our stay was between the Daytona 500 NASCAR race week and Bike week in Daytona so the area was not to crowded.
