Lake Huron access wooded 2-bedroom cottage with WiFi in charming Oscoda

We had a great stay at this cozy, very clean and comfortable cottage. The short walk to the lake and beach was wonderful. It was perfect for just the two of us and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

I loved this place with one important caveat. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery. Socks and dry floor? Bare feet and wet floor? You need to be careful, especially if you're older. I almost did the splits going to use the restroom. The shower is small and you can't keep the curtain in, so the floor will get a bit wet. For most floors this really isn't a big deal, but it's basically like ice. I only point this out because I do not want someone to actually get hurt without at least a bit of a warning. It's a very small bathroom, perhaps the owner can take a look and if I'm not crazy, replace the floor with something a bit safer for future guests for minimal cost. Anyway, other than that, it was great. Cozy, quiet, and real close to the beach. I had a great time.

This cottage is the ideal place to escape! It’s super clean and comes with all the essentials. The neighborhood felt very safe, and the host was quick and helpful to get in touch. We loved waking up and strolling to the beach to watch the sunrise, with the lake breeze flowing through all the windows in the house! The only thing I’d mention is the smaller bathroom, but since I’m shorter, I didn’t mind it at all! Overall, it’s an amazing spot to unwind from stress and responsibilities and experience the charm of a small lake town!

This property was perfect for our stay. Small cabin, with an easy walk to the beach. Close to downtown Oscoda and other small towns around the area. We could not have asked for anything better for our relaxing weekend.

Great little cabin in a fantastic location! We had everything we needed to enjoy our time there.

It was nice and quiet! Quiet beach was just across the road. Town and Tawas wasn't too far.

This was a great option for my needs...close enough to all the activities while still offering privacy. Will definitely be back!

We love coming here every summer. It’s the perfect spot for a family of 4. Close to the beach and lots to do in the Oscoda area. Doug, the owner, is super nice and communicates everything clearly.

The cabin was as described. The small bathroom was an issue as we're both tall and had to sit sideways on the toilet as our knees hit the wall! Our stay was during a heat wave (90), the fans that were provided were a life saver. Access to Lake Huron was quick and easy. My grandson enjoyed the shallow water. I think a few night lights would be helpful as the cabin is very dark at night. All in all, we had a nice get away!
