K7 Hotel Oslo Reviews

The location of the hotel is very good, but there are three points that are not satisfactory. I placed two orders, but the hotel receptionist didn't mention this after arriving at the hotel. If I hadn't found out later, this matter wouldn't have been solved, and I lost my room rate for one night. The second thing, when I was sleeping at night, the fire alarm suddenly sounded, and no one explained the reason. The third thing is that after I found the problem, I called the staff. The staff didn't give a reasonable explanation, just perfunctory. This is the reason why I am dissatisfied with your hotel.

It was a really excellent hostel. Clean. Has all facilities and in the perfect location. The only thing I can suggest hostel improvement is to ask guests what they plan on doing at the hostel as, I stayed in a 12 bed mixed dorm and only met 2 people my age who wanted to meet and become friends and hang out etc. The rest were boring 50+ and even one 72 year old who was living there and was a let down as they kept complaining that we were talking after 11pm. If the young ones and old ones, or the quiet ones and the meet friends and go out ones are seperated, this hostel could be 5**

Nice location, easy to find a scooter bike, riding around the city is my favourite activity

For a youth hostel, there is a separate room and toilet. The price is not bad.

There were not enough sockets near the beds and a small shelf. But the location is perfect. On the minus first floor there is a spacious living room and a small kitchen where you can cook. Wi-Fi is fast, but on the first floor it does not reach rooms far away. Super friendly staff. The room is quite cramped and the beds are squeaky.

I think it was great there

It's very close to the luxury avenue, and it's only a few minutes' walk away. At the same time, it's not far from the city center and Central Station. The hotel facilities are not bad, but you need to bring your own slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush, and you need to get new towels yourself. If you didn't clean up the room for us

The best hostel in downtown Oslo.

Stayed here for one night in a hostel bunk room. Booked a 12-bed room and was upgraded to a 4-bed room on arrival for free. Nice clean room, clean showers and toilets. Super friendly staff and amazing location. Huge help being able to store luggage before and after stay as well. Can’t fault anything about my stay. Tusen takk!

The hotel offered excellent value with clean, comfortable beds and a welcoming atmosphere. Conveniently located near key attractions, it provided great service, friendly staff, and well-maintained facilities The breakfast was delicious!

Great place easy to find 24 hour front desk would definitely recommend easy check in it’s located centrally in the city walking distance to train station rooms were clean and had a nice view of the street. Very quiet so easy to get a good night sleep

Everyone was nice, the place was clean and high standard as well. I recommend this place any time of the day as you get more than what you pay for. It is pretty much close to everywhere you want to go in Oslo whether it is train station, bay, or high end bars and clubs!

It is a basic and now thrills hotel, and this would have been all fine if not for.... I arrive at the breakfast 07:10 in the morning, it should open at 07:00. There was no breakfast to be seen, and when I ask the reply is "It has not arrived yet and it will be here around 8-ish" she says and shrugs here shoulders. I have a meeting at 08:30 so this is not an option I say. The reply is that I have to take my breakfast somewhere else then. I am promised to get my breakfast refunded - no excuse given that it probably wont cover my breakfast in town, so I check out. The reception promises me - The breakfast refunded - My bill emailed to me. So far neither has happened. I have emailed the hotel and tried calling several times and no one picks up or answers emails. All of this can only lead to the rating 1

I’m really puzzled by the number of 5-star reviews for this place. While the location is excellent, everything else was a letdown. There’s only one shared bathroom per floor, which was inconvenient and often crowded. The mattresses were so thin I could feel the metal bars underneath, making for a terrible night’s sleep. None of our bed lights or charging ports worked, and we had just two outlets to share between several people, awkwardly located by the basin. My bedding was visibly dirty, and the overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. The communal areas were cramped and uninviting, with little effort put into making guests feel comfortable. For the price, I expected much more. This place is well below standard, and I won’t be returning or recommending it.
