Poor first impressions as this is on the edge of an industrial estate with factories front and back. But we needed accommodation with somewhere to park the car and we found a space on the street right outside the front door for free.(we didn't know there was secure parking available at the hotel). Friendly, efficient check in from Jeremy. Clean spacious seating and breakfast areas which we didn't use. The room is clean and well equipped and OK for one or 2 nights. The bathroom and kitchenette are small, the bedroom compact with wardrobe space and a comfortable bed. It was VERY hot while we were there so had the window fully open at night. Unfortunately at midnight on Saturday a rave started in the unit immediately behind with very loud music until 5am when they left shouting and slamming car doors. On Monday morning at 8am the factory behind started up what sounded like a hovercraft in our room which went on for about an hour. Maybe if you came in winter and didn't open the curtains or window it might not be so bad. On the plus side we really liked Strasbourg and this location is very convenient for the tram which takes just 10 mins into the centre.

The hotel is located in the beautiful area of Petite France, but easy to get in taxi. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable, and the room was very comfortable and very comfortable. We recently stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 young children (4 and 5). Booking was seamless and easy bar some confusion over whether breakfast was or wasn't included. The hotel is in a phenomenal location in Petite France, however bear in mind as it is on a pedestrianized street there is very limited parking at the property. This isn't an issue as there is a public garage close by and the hotel has a subsidized rate of €18.50/night. The building itself is beautiful and historic with plenty of period detail. The rooms are old but well equipped and clean and they have character(wooden floors/beams etc.) Ours was a family room so there was a set of bunks which the children really loved. The added benefit of a Nespresso machine also went down well with the caffeine addict parents. The bathroom was huge with a great shower. There were plenty of towels provided and the hotel toiletries were of decent quality. There were only small niggles within a great overall stay. Namely a lack of seating and supplies at breakfast on both mornings and also our room wasn't cleaned even though we had requested it and we had been out for 6 hours. Overall would recommend and stay again.

The location is quite good. In a calm area and just 20 minutes to the center by public transportation. There is Super U supermarket nearby so it’s very convenient. The room was clean. Staff was friendly. However they could improve by providing bottle of water in the room which is an usual practise in every hotel. There wasn’t fridge inside the room. The bed was comfortable but the pillow was quite hard and thick. I had pain in my neck the day after. Anyway was good overall

Not talking dirt in the bunks (thankfully) but for as new as it seems, the shared spaces are rough. Bathrooms look rough, half the soap and dryers don’t work (not a good thing for hygiene obviously), the showers were always covered in water and hot water, up for debate. Next, the place is loud. Not hostel, a few people are chatting loud and certainly not 8pm, like the room was basically in the bar and the bar was busy (see next item) till after 1. Sure, we could have closed the window to help a bit but with no other airflow in the room, it’s a choice between super loud and hot/stuffy. Loud won. Last off, during my stay, they were hosting an event which meant a ton of people hanging around. Now the event was for a great purpose and that’s awesome and everyone was friendly too but it still meant the bar was basically taken over by locals who knew each other and filled up the community spaces, instead of a traveler or even a general bar vibe. Not a thrilling thing to find out after checking in. All that said, staff was great, super friendly when I checked in and around the place. The bar / restaurant is well done with a nice range of options and decent prices though I didn’t find the breakfast worth the buffet cost. Like the other locations, rooms are nicely done, bunks have good curtains, power, lights, all the makings of a 10/10, but not.

The property is surrounded by a high wire fence, grown through with weeds, the entrance to parking and to the hotel were not apparent. Even the IBIS sign was not illuminated. It was very confusing, even to confirm it was the hotel or to find a way in. However, the manager on duty, Guillaume, responded immediately to email and was very welcoming and completely restored my spirit after I arrived. The property is heavily used and so needs some work. But, everything was clean. Everything worked. Guillaume and the other staff were very friendly, hospitable and helpful. The breakfast offerring was first rate, food service and beer were available until quite late into the night. And, it was all good. Also, there is exercise equipment, TV lounge, foosball, etc. Nobody was using, but it was available. Quite a place. I would be happy to stay there again, now that I know the way in.

We were in family at 12 and gave us a fantastic Christmas buffet at the Best Western of Dorlisheim. It's really one of the best in the region Whatever the freshness and diversity of the proposed sets, the presentation, the welcome, everything was perfect. The fat liver was suckle, salmon, oysters, all the original and more delicious entries each other, the beef with fungi, gratin and a lot of desserts. Excellent price quality ratio Thanks! We will return 😋

One first sight everything looked okay. The man at the reception was very nice and helpful and speaks English very well. The room on the other hand was outdated, not well cleaned (some hairs from the previous guests) and the bathroom totally flooded after just one shower! Luckily I was just passing through and didn't stay long. The most horrible experience of the stay was that the next day, there was a lady at the reception... Although there is a sign of a French and English flag symbol on the desk of the reception, this lady kept on firing French words at me like there was no tomorrow. I replied in English, and she got irritated even more! She definitely ruined my morning and breakfast (which wasn't great and the place wasn't cleaned just like the knives and forks). So the conclusion is that this accommodation deserves one star and shouldn't be listed on Booking at all! If you want a horrible stay and like to be verbally assaulted, this is the place to be!
