Great location to explore Ottawa, I got 6 beds dorm with ensuite bathroom, receptionists are friendly and happy to give useful informations, breakfast is very nice, clean and good kitchen with big dining room. The best hostel in my Canada trip.

Great location and experience

The transportation is very convenient. Line 1 is just a few minutes' walk away. It is in the very city center. The room is very small and can't fit a suitcase. It is suitable for backpackers. I brought a 28-inch large suitcase and could only leave it outside to unpack. The toilet and bathroom are shared and are generally clean. The front desk lady is very nice and will patiently answer and help if you have any questions.

The room is small and not soundproof. It's enough to experience it once.

1. Take the subway from Ottawa Railway Station to Rideau and walk to the hotel. 2. This is a prison-turned hotel, very creative and worth experiencing. 3. The breakfast is quite rich. 4. Free coffee. 5. You only need to walk to the city center to fully experience the typical architecture and river of the Canadian capital. 6. There are many restaurants in the shopping center with rich choices. 7. Good memories. 8. Will come again.

If you're just staying overnight, this is a highly recommended place. The showers are just showers, with no shampoo or conditioner. The location was great.

Very very good experience. The location is very close to Parliament Hill, churches and art galleries. It is very convenient and the beds are brand new. It is highly recommended to take a jail tour. The tour guide is very funny and humorous. It is a great experience! (This is a photo taken during the visit hh, not the actual place where I stayed. The room is very big and nice.

The facilities are simple, but the service is good, and there is nearly an hour of prison introduction, which is worth experiencing once.
