Sehr schönes Hotel (eine alte Priorei) mitten im Wald gelegen, sehr idyllisch.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist mit 23,50 € pro Person viel zu teuer

Hier logeren was een domper op een leuke fietsvakantie, dit hotel is zo verouderd en onverzorgd, badkamer was gewoonweg verschrikkelijk om te gebruiken, zo vies. Zie foto’s . Van de WC heb ik geen foto genomen was gewoonweg niet appetijtelijk, hing vol blauw product en smurrie, had zelfs geen deksel. Lakens niet proper, geen verwarming ook niet in de badkamer, natte kledij na een fietstocht kon niet gedroogd worden. Bar was out of order. Enkel bij slecht weer is de kapittelzaal ter beschikking, maar zit vol irritante vliegen. A.u.b. laat hier geen mensen meer logeren die met hun zuurverdiende centen willen genieten van een vakantie tot na een grondige renovatie. Dit was een kleine 300€ verloren voor 1 overnachting met 3 gangen diner en ontbijt voor 2 personen, konden we veel beter besteden. Trouwens jullie gastronomisch diner is niet echt gastronomisch diner maar eerder een opgewarmde maaltijd. Bediener, heel vriendelijke man, was ook kok. Hij deed zijn best. Ontbijt was heel matig. Industriële sandwichen en wat afgebakken broodjes, zelfs geen wit brood ter beschikking.

This is heaven on earth. Very quiet, great sleep quality, lovely large room, excellent restaurant, superb breakfast, exceptional ambience and surroundings. Staff are a match to all this. The only problem can be for handicapped people as distances between main building and accommodation are large with many steps here and there. Location is not far from the main Antwerp to Duesseldorf motorway.

Wij mochten een fotoshoot doen voor onze bruiloft op hun locatie. Afgesproken dat we met een rolstoel gebruiker zitten en dat was oke. Daarna betaald en ontdekken dat overal trappen zijn en de keukenlift voor bediening geen rolstoel binnen past. Gaan vragen voor informatie, daar wisten ze ineens niets over een rolstoel gebruiker. Na 5 min proberen met mijn kleed hem op te heffen opgegeven en zonder foto’s doorgegaan. Geld voor niks uitgegeven! Nooit meer!

Mooi domein, veel groen en bos, tuin heel netjes. Priorij ? Herstelling mooi gedaan. Kamers zijn wel wat aan vernieuwing toe. Restaurant, prachtig in de kelder.Diner, zeer lekker!goeie kok! Bediening, vriendelijke man. Ontbijt, niemand aanwezig. In de week rustig!

Schuur 2 contains old rooms that need renovation very badly - the bathroom has mould contamination, the only water glass in the room was cracked, the curtains could neither be opened nor closed, the TV is standing on top of a cupboard (i.e. 2 meters high), there is not even a complementary bottle of water, they forgot to clean the room, etc. etc. The hotel caters mainly for groups of bikers on pension, and the restaurant only provides a set menu after reservation (but you only find out if you ask for a table). The staff at Reception is very young and unfriendly - but you still pay more than 100 Euro for a basic i bed room. They will never see me again!!
