A family vacation, on route to Jeffrey's Bay. We drove from Malmesbury via Laingsburg and the Seweweekspoort to Oudtshoorn and stayed at De Akker. Lovely place with very friendly and helpful staff.

Prima accommodatie dicht bij het centrum van Oudtshoorn. De manager gaf ons prima adviezen om ergens te gaan dineren en heeft tevens de reservering gemaakt. Ze was erg behulpzaam. De accommodatie heeft een kleine tuin met klein zwembad maar meer heb je niet nodig. Ontbijt was verrassend met eigen presentatie. was erg lekker.

We had a very cozy stay there, the breakfast was excellent and felt like we were home. The staff was always smiling and friendly. We highly recommend this guest house, especially for family trips.

This guesthouse is nice ! Cute room, nice updated bathrooms , VERY CLEAN and wonderful service . Also very affordable Would recommend to any level of traveler who wants to embrace the charm and service of South Africa. A perfect stop for the garden route stopover

The area is nice, quiet and clean. Staff staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, in summary we enjoyed our stay and wish we stayed longer! Will def recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Oudtshoorn area. Keep up the good work. Thank you to Lynda for the hospitality :)

The stay was lovely, fantastic service, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, every day there is something new to try, they cook fresh eggs up to your liking. They even do laundry which is very quick. The location is great, shopping complex 'checkers' bear by, restaurant 'spur' are very nearby. We were tired and some one recommended the BB. A truly good experience. The staff helped us with a smile and the room are neat and well maintained. We have never stayed so well in the area and will stay whenever we visit the town.
