De Denne Country Guest House ademt rustgevende sfeer uit. Op het terrein vind je struisvogels farm. De kamers zijn schoon en ruim, met een douche en bad. Grote bedden, prima geslapen. Ontbijt is prima, avond eten is tegen betaling was ook goed. Rond leiding over de struisvogel boerderij is heel leuk. De tour over de Swartsberg Pass naar Prince Albert toe is een absolute aan rader. Goede veilig rijdende chauffeur met tourguide. Het was onze eerste keer in Zuid Afrika. Maar het zal niet onze laatste keer zijn geweest.

We hadden een luxury suite. Prima grote kamer met mooi uitzicht op weiland en rietland. Veel vogels op het terrein en de omliggende gebieden. Ontbijt was op zich in orde. Wel aandacht voor aanvulling bij grotere reisgroepen. Diner was van de kaart en had een uitstekende kwaliteit. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Incredible Country Gem - Definitely Worthwhile
The drive up to the hotel off of the main paved road requires driving along a poorly conditioned dirt road. That part had us wondering where we had booked, but after the road - literally everything was top rated!
The Staff was very friendly and accommodating and they provide a great deal of extra touches which indicate this 4 start place to be better rated as a 5 star place!
All of the rooms are nice and nicely appointed. They have an invertor which covers Wifi and some power to charge your phone during load shedding times.
The food was unexpectedly excellent and the eating area also very lovely, quaint with good, attentive service. They also have a larger wine & beverage list than most places along the Garden Route of South Africa.
Without so much as asking - their yard staff washed all of the vehicles in the morning.
They literally did everything possible to ensure your stay was memorable and comfortable. The views are stunning and they have 2 of their own Ostriches for a private close-up viewing as well.
It's incredibly inexpensive to stay there and would be fair at triple the price. So don't let the cost deter you.
This is truly a gem and if in that area again we would absolutely stay in this place again. We are seasoned travelers and would rate this hotel higher than 5 stars if it was possible.

Sehr gastfreundlich.sauber und geräumig. Gegrilltes Straussenfleisch war super lecker. Pools waren genau richtig zum chillout mit einem sensationellen Ausblick auf die Landschaft. Betten waren bequem und gross. Sonst ist hier natürlich nichts - ist halt mitten in der Natur.

Super stay, very comfortable. The 2 bed Family Suite easily accommodated 5 adults. Plus great meals in their restaurant, with the ostrich steak being the highlight.

Sehr nettes authentisches Guest House. Sehr ruhig gelegene und besten Essen. Alles Mitarbeiterberatung ausgesprochen freundlich. Selbst unser Wagen wurde jeden Tag von Karoowüstwnsand befreit. Gerne empfehlen wir diese Unterkunft für Menschen, die es ruhig und mit schöner Landschaft mögen.
