Voor ons was dit een heel bijzondere, maar fantastische ervaring omdat we verbleven in luxe tenten. Het is een mooie accommodatie met verschillende zwembaden, goeie uitvalsbasis voor Swartberg. Er is ook een prima restaurant op het complex.

Spent 2 nights at the Old Mill Nature Lodge - what a pleasant surprize! Very friendly staff and very neat room. The breakfast as well as evening meal was great! Most enjoyable break-away. Close to Cango Caves and other day trips.Thank-you Renier and team!

Have marked this 5 star, whilst it is not your luxury 5 star, the service received was excellent. Call out to George on reception and the ladies in the breakfast room. Accommodation was clean, surrounding tranquil and a nice touch having insect repellent in the room. Perfect stay for recharging batteries.

Working.Ostrich Farm glamping We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at old Mill. We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice. Dinner was fantastic My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave. Besides that great place

Surprise gem The location and grounds were stunning and incredibly well kept. The children had lots of green space to play and explore and be up close with the animals. Our deck was expansive which made for lovely evenings watching the sun go down behind the hills and the sky change colour. The beds were incredibly comfortable which was a pleasant surprise as we have bad backs and often struggle to sleep while travelling. While the decor was an older fashioned style, everything was in pristine condition and the cleaning staff were lovely.

Old Mill Lodge is a beautiful working farm but extremely well looked after and very serene. The animals on the farm just make everything more special. The staff is friendly and proficient. Our room was neat and clean. We will definitely stay over again.

Great place to stay We loved our room overlooking the dam. The decor was modern and the room attractive and clean. The restaurant was also excellent and the site convenient to all the attractions we wished to visit including Cango caves. We would definitely choose to stay there again
