The room was great, and the dinner at the hotel was great, open until 11 o'clock. I had their salmon soup, which was good. The sauna is better than the Radisson Blu Helsinki, independent and not in the gym.

There is no Japanese food for breakfast, but it is delicious enough. Plenty of fruits.
The sidewalks around the hotel are well maintained and perfect for a walk.
Located in the heart of downtown, everything is within walking distance. A taxi to the airport will be called for you, and it will come right away.

Excellent hotel! Very clean, nice looking and in a perfect location. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was also very good.(Being able to squeeze your own orange juice is a nice touch!) Though a bit more variety from day to day would be nice. I also appreciated the thick curtains in the room which helped me to sleep despite the sun barely going under the horizon at the end of June. (Be careful opening them in the morning as the sun will blind you!!) The hotel offered free bicycle rentals, which I took full advantage of because Oulu is a very bike-friendly city.

Hotel service was friendly and location convenient. However, we were surprised by how dirty the room and hotel was. We found candy wrappers and rubbish under our bed and the desk had glass marks all over it. The mirror was dirty with streaks all over it. As for the breakfast area the most chairs had crumbs all over them despite table surfaces being clean. The breakfast itself was average for a hotel breakfast in Finland, but did have a good selection of foods. We loved the omelette station and the freshly squeezed juice section.
