In Ouray for the Ice Climbing Festival (my husband’s long-held dream). Was very pleasantly surprised with the accommodations, staff and service at the Hot Springs Inn. Huge room, right on the river, with balcony. Little details like bath sheet size towels and real bath mats. Immaculately clean, great breakfast, and convenient to Ice Park shuttle and hot springs. Ice climber working the desk gave us helpful info too, we’ll be back!

Clean, easily accessible, and located in a good spot! Thanks for giving us a comfortable place to retire to after our fun day in Durango!

The pet friendly room we stayed in was super comfortable, very clean, and included a full-size kitchen that we cooked dinner in one night after vising the market a block or two down the street from the lodge. Many of the rooms have their own hot tubs outside of the room. The rooms have a ton of character and are being redone as part of the complete renovation taking place. There is an inviting pool area that includes a large hot pool that is elevated and covered. This is a great place to relax after a day of exploring all there is to do around the area. The spa is being redone and was not open while we were there. I will make sure and take advantage of this the next time we stay there. Once the spa is open the Chipeta Lodge will offer all the amenities for a relaxing getaway. In addition to the superb service provided by Darcie and everyone else, the dining experience at The Ridgway restaurant, overseen by John, a level 2 sommelier, was nothing short of exceptional. John's passion for wine and food pairings elevated each dish to new heights, creating a culinary experience that left a lasting impression. I truly enjoyed the time John would spend talking about wines with my wife and me. If you are looking for a place to host an event the Chipeta Lodge is ready to accommodate. Stayed here for three nights. Although we liked the underground parking it is a little tight. Back in if you can it will make life easier for you. You will need to walk about 1/2 mile to get get to most of the good restaurants. Restaurant was closed when we were there and Telluride doesn’t open fully until after Memorial Day. It is a good solid hotel with daily maid service and clean and comfortable rooms. Didn’t interact with staff that much but, the few times we did they were responsive.
