We picked the Holiday Inn Express for a 4 day trip to Overland Park with my wife and 14 year old. The area was selected based on the presence of a Life Time Fitness location nearby (the clubs are placed in optimal neighborhoods). I have to say that this location really checked every box. Check in was nice and easy and the young lady was very welcoming and helpful. The room itself was super clean and felt very new. Plenty of room for storage with a dresser and armoire closet. Beds were comfortable with choices of firm and soft pillows. The room was equipped with mini fridge and coffee maker with a variety of coffee pods in the room and extras in the lobby. Continental breakfast was pretty good each day. Hot food items rotated each day and the fresh to order Pancake press was a nice touch. We did not use the indoor pool/hot tub or the fitness room but both looked to be in good working order with a variety of cardio and free weights available. All in all, this hotel really delivered an elevated experience for this class of hotels and we were very happy from check-in to check-out.

All the employees treated us great and cheerful. Had a family get together of 11, reservations and check out went will and didn't have any mess up's. Nice clean place, pool & hot tub was clean and inside, and not busy when we was there. Had good breakfast, gals kept up well. Rooms was clean and comfortable.

Very nice clean hotel. We love staying here. The only thing I could not find the hair dryer !! It was in the closet where you hang up clothes which it should be in the bathroom. Maybe install a hook in the bathroom for it to hang on. Breakfast is always good

We enjoyed our stay here! Safe, clean, lots of options for dining. Was a little noisy as we stayed on the second floor, but other than that, staff nice, room was clean, hot tub was nice, kids loved the pool. Would definitely stay here again!!

We were working in Kc and chose the holiday inn based on the pics and other reviews and glad we stayed here! Super clean, friendly staff, and very nice rooms. Nothing like a clean, comfy room after doing physical work all day. And a hot breakfast in the morning and coffee was a welcoming good morning. Suggestion to ditch the round sausage patties, add bacon and some fresh fruit and would be even better. But hey, can’t complain got my protein and caffeine so good to go!

We needed a room for 1 night after an unexpected event caused to us to stay overnight. We found this hotel and were so glad we did. Centrally located just off a major road with easy access to a lot of restaurants and other retail. The room was clean and well appointed with "firm" and "soft" pillows, plenty of space and the beds were very comfortable. Keurig with both regular and decaf! Quiet and easy to navigate. The bathroom was very clean and newer fixtures. We will absolutely return in the future.
