Wow! Lovely place to stay with brilliant, friendly, professional staff. We stayed in the Queen’s Chamber, a lovely room with a comfortable king-size bed and a beautiful bathtub with shower. The hotel is old-world class. We loved that it was not a vast building but an intimate luxurious experience without pomp or pretence. The three-course meal we had in the stunning restaurant was sublime. Big serves, super-tasty food. Liver mousse was perfect and the salmon was the best I have ever eaten (despite a few overlooked bones that should not have been there). Lovely desserts - crème brûlée and a trio of delicious sorbets. Wonderful service from Slav. This is a classy, comfortable, friendly place. Loved it so much that we have chosen it as our wedding venue for next year!!!

Woodlands Park is definitely a 'Character' hotel, lots of leather chairs, original fireplaces and stained glass windows. If you're after a newer style room, then they do have one wing with those, but in the main, do expect your room to be a little bit more 'traditional' in feel than a typical chain hotel. However, it's just lovely. We got the Master Suite at a knockdown rate as we went just after New Year, and it's lovely: A wide, comfortable bed (tho maybe a little bit short for 6ft+ people, it was perfect for us) that helped us have a fantastic couple of nights sleep, tons of space to sit and luxurious sofas to lounge upon. Aircon was perfectly adequate and fairly quiet. The bathroom was spacious and had a bath with a rain-shower over the top; again, a little 'traditional' in style, but clean and with nice big, fluffy towels. Even with it being a quiet time of year, the staff were excellent; attentive, helpful and keen to assist with anything we needed. We only ate Breakfast and Room Service, and found the range and quality of food and drink to be excellent (there was a foobar with a room service breakfast being lost, but they were quick to fix it and get us a lovely spread; also they maybe could put a bar menu in the room so you know what drinks are on offer alongside the food). Grounds could be a bit more ornate (it's really just a fairly spacious lawn; needs a path!), and were a bit muddy when we went for a short walk around, but the view from the room across the Surrey Hills is epic, and the terrace looks like it would be lovely in the summer. Overall, we're likely to be back, especially if there's another occasion where a suite is in the budget!

Truly deserves more than the standard "five stars" We recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Woodlands Park Hotel for a couple of nights. The hotel itself is a charming blend of history and modern comfort. We were captivated by the beautiful old wood paneling, traditional fireplaces, and the meticulously maintained grounds, perfect for leisurely strolls. Despite its historic character, the hotel boasts up-to-date amenities. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, featuring a large flat-screen TV and a cozy bed. The room was so nice and cozy we almost over slept and missed our check out time when we were due to leave. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always greeting us with a friendly "Hello." We were particularly impressed by Aysha at the reception desk. She went above and beyond, sharing fascinating insights into the hotel's history and even showing us a collection of old photographs showcasing the building's evolution over the years. We wholeheartedly recommend Woodlands Park Hotel to anyone seeking a memorable stay. It truly deserves more than the standard five stars and really should be a “6 Star Review”,

Beautiful Hotel Lovely stay at this historic beautiful hotel. The hotel has so much character and history but also offers a lovely warm, friendly environment with lovely staff. The grounds are lovely and would make a great location for a wedding. We had a look around the local area which I would recommend. Cobham is a little town worth a visit just down the road with lovely coffee shops and shops.
