Hotels near Ozark Area Depot Museum, Ozark

Great hotel for travelers passing through. Despite having a room looking towards the interstate heard no traffic noise at night which made for good night sleep. Rooms for the most part are adequate unless you are traveling with others. Not enough outlets in the room for our electronic/medical devices. The outlets in the lamp between the beds were too large so the plugs wouldn't connect so they were useless. Luckily we had portable chargers for our cell phones. Breakfast service in the morning was good and tasty. Hotel seems outdated in some aspects. Otherwise it is a good place for those passing through.

We stayed here last night and was charged 167.12 for 1 night. We had no hot water at all upon check out I was offered $20 credit for it. I asked to speak to manager was told not there. The guy give me a number and when I called turned out to be his mom she said nothing she could do without being there but would call me at noon (still waiting on call) I noticed the sign said manager on duty was Mike so I asked to speak to him was told not there asked for number he said couldn’t give I asked for him to call from hotel phone so I could speak with he said not possible. Voices were raised on both sides he would leave front desk I would ring bell until he come back to try and get worked out. A lady come off elevator and the guy behind desk asked her to explain what was going on I turned and looked at her and she asked what’s the problem I said I’m wanting to speak to manager she pointed to guy I had been speaking with and said you’re speaking to him. I notice the way she’s dressed she isn’t employee so I asked her who she was and she went off on me cussing at me and yelling I was explaining that I was asking who she was so I would know who I was speaking with she said she had stayed there for 2 weeks so he had asked a customer to explain to me what’s going on. I am including picture so can understand why I asked who she was. She said she heard me cussing him out and come down. The only thing I said was I told the lady who I thought was manager that the guy she had working was a smart a$& which I regret even using that word. She was yelling and using bad language and then told him to call 911 on me or she was fixing to f$&$& go off. He called 911 I have no idea why because there was no emergency and no threats had been made of any kind of anything she threatened me by saying she was fixing to go off ( I have on video ) they say they have it all on tape and I welcome it to be played any time. I set down waiting on cop and she set down and kept trying to get me rattled she was telling guy look at her shaking she’s so nervous she knows she’s in trouble and stuff like that. Cops arrived and I explained he told me to go over their head and contact corporate which I did. Come to find out it was actually the manager that had been talking to me all this time but he was insisting there wasn’t a manager on property. Corporate told me the managers name and it happen to be the same name on my receipt as who checked me out. I called the number that I had been given and had spoke to the manager earlier that was supposed to call me and get me credit she didn’t answer but her voicemail give her name and she had same last name as manager I was speaking to which while speaking to her she said that’s my son and he shouldn’t be talking to customers like that I’ll take care of him. The room itself was nice. My complaints are more along the line of structure which we find in a lot of motels. The vanity is high with a very wide lip. For anyone not tall, it's difficult to lean over to the basin to brush your teeth. Only a shower, no tub. Not enough light in the room for reading. As a Marriott member, I would have expected to be acknowledged and welcomed as such. Never happened. As to the HOT BREAKFAST, the choices were very limited, probably one of the worst we had seen in a while.

I recently stayed at this Holiday Inn during a cross-country move. After a long day of traveling it was nice to be greeted by a friendly man at the desk. The value for a nice, spacious, clean room was excellent! The bathrooms were a little outdated but one good thing... the shampoo and conditioner! I never use hotel shampoo and conditioner but I made an exception this time -- it smells amazingggg!

This is my second stay at your establishment and I was glad to see them mainly because I was tired but your staff remembered me and that's uncommon and I came back downstairs and as I was waiting my turn I noticed how personal and caring that your staff is with everyone that comes before them. And our society now where everything is so unpersonal and in human with a text or email I appreciate that personal touch that carry touch that I want to come back and stay touch thank you
