I cannot fault the hospitality at the old Custom House. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our visit was comfortable. Everyone from reception to bar and restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful. But I would like to mention how great our waitress Kim was Kim made sure our visit was perfect and she did not disappoint such a lovely member of your team.

Even though we were residents (4) we were unable to have a meal in the evening as they had a high number of 'walk ins' and had not retained any space for residents. This was very unsatisfactory and in the end we had to supply our two Canadian guests with a take away meal from a fish and chip shop.

Visited the Custom House, as we have done many times before for a drink and to avoid a passing shower. Staff are super friendly, drinks selection is good and fairly priced for the location. Dog bowls and treats station is a nice touch. Only downside is the smell from the toilets, they appear clean but have the stench of a public toilet, which sadly creeps out into the dining area. Other than that, lovely spot and will definitely return.

Really friendly staff, they even arranged a dining table so we could watch the England match. Great location with a room overlooking the harbour. Food was excellent ( breakfast freshly cooked to order) We would definitely return if we come back to Cornwall.

We had the best evening here all staff were very welcoming upon arrival we were then taken into the restaurant side and were greeted by our waitress Kim who was attentive and friendly Kim recommended the seafood sharer which was perfect Kim made our entire evening so special.

All the Staff we had a great evening on Monday night. Lovely food. So nice to be down for a couple of weeks. We hope to see Kim again she was fantastic throughout our evening See you all soon we can’t wait to be back such a lovely pub with a fantastic view.

We had a table booked here and when we arrived we were greeted with friendly faces from staff and taken to the restaurant where we were greeted by our waitress Kim who was attentive and friendly she made our evening so special such a great member of your team. We had the best evening here and we will definitely be returning in the future
