We stayed for two nights at Travelodge Wadebridge. This was our first stay at Travelodge Wadebridge and we were very happy with our experience there. From a very welcoming gentleman who answered all of our questions and was very helpful, he could not do enough for us to make our stay welcoming. Thank you Abdul, its a delight to have someone with a positive attitude who represents Traveloge like you on the front desk. Also to the young lady who looked after our room during our stay, again she went out of her way to help us, a big thank you to her. The room way clean and tidy, and we had two great nights sleep. We were very pleased with our stay at this Traveodge, and would definitely recommend a stay here if you are in the area. Thank you again Travelodge Wadebridge and to your fab staff for making our stay feel relaxing and welcoming.

I had booked The Bodmin Jail Hotel for my daughter's 18th birthday surprise. We weren't disappointed. From the moment we arrived, we couldn't have been made more welcome. The hotel was very quiet, probably due to being a mid-week in mid-October, so I'm not sure when the hotel is at full capacity whether the same would be said, but for us we enjoyed the peace & quiet of not being disturbed. The rooms (unsurprisingly, given the thick walls) were totally quiet and super comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the towels fluffy, plenty of hot water and soft bath robes, along with beautiful-smelling amentities. There were tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but my only (very very minor) gripe was that there was literally only 1 decaf tea bag in comparison to about 10 sachets of coffee. I could have asked for more, I know, but I had brought my own so didn't bother. A complimentary mini-bar is a nice touch, too. The staff were lovely. Being so quiet, occasionally it was hard to find someone, especially when we went for a drink in the Champagne Bar in the evening, but all staff members were lovely. I had planned a surprise of some balloons and a birthday banner for my daughter in our room on arrival, and this was handled perfectly, even with the addition of a birthday cake made out of towels - a fantastic touch. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful and served in the beautiful chapel. All in all, we had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend it as an unusual destination. If you book directly with the hotel, you get complimentary access to the Bodmin Jail Museum. Be prepared, though, it's not much of a laugh (given its subject matter) and quite dark and scary, especially at the beginning, so if you don't like the dark, loud noises and being shut into underground spaces, perhaps give it a miss! I'm glad we went, though, as it really gave me an insight into just how horrific our prison system used to be.

Great location and nice sea view right in the centre of town , short walk to the beach and shops , pubs etc . Stayed for one night , hotel was clean and got it for a great price , only thing we didn’t get a breakfast and was an extra £20 but Wetherspoons is just up the road for a breakfast . Would recommend this hotel if you want a cheap stay in Newquay 👍

Great location with parking nearby, a large Aldi downstairs and an easy walk in to town. Definitely request a sea view room. If needed there is a lift to all floors with a bar/restaurant on the first floor. Cheapest parking is Albany Road pay and display. I didn't book in advance and glad I didn't. When we arrived it was full so parked by the police station and opposite the train station. Only 2 minutes walk to the hotel and you can pay by cash/contactless or by APOCOA App. There is a Wetherspoons 2 minutes away on the opposite side of the road. Loads of take aways around including 2 fish and chip shops. For a quieter walk in to town rather than down a busy road, turn immediately left and follow the sandy coloured path. It will bring you to the edge of the centre of town. Great bars near by (an Irish one, The Griffin Inn as well as cheap drinks and breakfast at Wetherspoons) There is a vending machine downstairs for soft drinks and crisps/snacks. First floor had a bar restaurant.
