Paignton South (Brixham Road)

Needs a repaint doesn't give a good impression. Water not always hot and always smells unsavoury outside.

You wouldn't believe it we came to stay at Paignton and who do we see Lucy! She was at the plymouth one before and we have had a lovely stay there with her being cheerful and always happy to see us. Well once again she was and so glad to hear she has had a promotion which was well deserved. She remembered us and went out of her way to make our stay good as always. Her chatty friendly attitude is always to each and every person she never seems not happy. Hotel looks a bit worn on the outside but don't let that fool you the inside is lovely. Clean tidy and easy accessible. Our room was spotless and perfect and all the team were fantastic. Beefeater next door great and the team are friendly too. Well this might be our new stopping place.

Very pleased with our choice of hotel .friendly staff.and very clean .a little.out of town. But very handy for Brigham or paington. Being.in a wheelchair requested a ground floor room no problem. Staff were helpfully. Expressly Steven who helped me sort out wi-fi.would definitely stay here again

We have stayed here before and the hotel is fine. Its obviously old, has no USB sockets in our room and the shower is over a very deep bath. Not good, and it needs to be updated.

This hotel located on a retail park on the edge of Paignton offers great value budget accommodation with staff keen to make your stay successful

Room clean , quiet and comfortable. We were very impressed with the receptionist Becky. She made us feel so welcome . Becky was very kind, especially to my daughter and overall this helped to make it a very pleasant and memorable stay. Would definitely come again based on experience today.

The most welcoming hotel I've stayed at in years. On booking, there had been a mix up for myself and teenage son (we needed a twin room and not a double). Computer systems were down on our arrival and we were still booked into a double room. Nothing was too difficult for Becky, however. She checked us into the double room and encouraged us to relax and unwind in it while she sorted out a change in room for us when computers were back working. Less than hour later, Becky was at our door with a key for our new room. In the new room was a personal written note thanking us for our patience and a box of chocolates. Amazing customer service! Lovely breakfast in the Beefeater next door too.

My family enjoyed a 1 night break here recently and could not have been happier. Dropped our daughter at Brixham Harbour for a week sailing course and stayed here so we didn't have to drive the 5 hours back home in the same day. Super attentive staff and delicious breakfast. As always with Premier Inn a super night's sleep in a comfy bed.

The hotel was just outside of Paignton with excellent bus services to most parts of South Devon. We had a friendly and efficient reception and although we were not constantly bothered by staff, we always knew where to find them when we needed them. All of the staff were local so were a mine of information about the local area, bus services etc. we had our breakfast in the attached Beefeater and this was exceptionally well run by Nigel and his team, Saffron, Chloe and Agi. They remained cheerful and helpful even over the busy bank holiday and pirate festival. The food choices were excellent and everything was well stocked at all times and despite being very busy, there was always time for a friendly chat with the guests.
