Berry Hotel

Fantastic service and friendly staff...Free secure parking and nice breakfast. New comfy beds with fresh bedding. Made us feel welcomed also 1 minute walk to the beach ⛱️ Good location. Will book this hotel again next time we in the area Asif (Manchester)

Booked the night before for 1 week, when we got there was very nicely surprised by warm welcome, shown to room wich was very nicely done and clean,and nice welcome every morning for breakfast wich was good, ram and his wife were the perfect hosts ,good parking facility also perfect location walking distance to or amenities beach bars etc,will def be back Terry & Sue

Booked in for two nights wow very impressed very nice clean room very friendly owners in fact it was that good we decided to stay an extra night thanks again will be back soon well located just a minute walk to the beach and a couple to Torbay road which has ll the holiday shops

Young lad very helpful when checked in offered help to take luggage to room If you struggle with mobility ask lower floor as lots stairs up to top floor small corridors Woken up 1am by people in the street on way back from pubs Friday night not hotels fault but that's problem with hotel being on a side street The corridor light kept coming on shining under the bedroom door and people shutting doors make noise Bed lovely and comfortable and room lovely and clean can't complain Seagulls on the roof every night so loud The second night was even worse for noise I had about an hours sleep due to people outside street and seagulls on roof! I know the hotel can't control this but not an ideal location The staff are lovely , especially the lady at breakfast Breakfast sausages were poor but rest was ok It's more of a B&B than a hotel If I could get a full nights sleep I would stay again

Very Warm Friendly welcome upon arrival, off-road parking which is perfect! Comfy Bed, hot shower! Literally a minutes walk away from the beach & the towns attractions! What else could you ask for!! Will definitely be staying again next time we are in Paignton

Free parking is a bonus i had a single room quite big to many I have been in room was very clean.bed comfortable. Not much of a view from the room but certainly doesn't detract from an enjoyable stay.the only little thing was the tea station could do with an upgrade very dated.would stay here again

I 'happened' upon The Berry in the middle of the Torbay Airshow. I didn't have the highest of expectations from the look and feel of the place. However, I was grateful to secure a double room which was a bonus albeit odd when the proprietor asked me not to use the other bed! The downside was the location: being so close to the front meant listening to the punters from next door... which was compounded by a disco. On arrival I noticed that the bathroom ceiling had been papered... I only noticed this because it was partly hanging off. Though I was there for one night by the time I left the whole ceiling was hanging down... so much so that I had to duck to get into the bathroom. The breakfast was poor... full English but a very poor and cheap imitation.

Perfect, this hotel and the owners could not have been better. Worried before arrival because the Berry Hotel was the cheapest by far, i should not have worried. Ram the owner and his wife could not have been nicer. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was basic but had everything in it that you would want, En suite toilet and shower, very hot water. Sink, Kettle, tea/coffee etc, TV , double bed even though there was only me staying. Very clean and overall just right. Breakfast just what i needed amd again was perfect. I have read other comments which now dont make sense for this hotel, you just cant please some people. 10/10 and if i am ever in Paignton again i would stay at the Berry Hotel.
