Bungalos éco-responsable perdus dans une végétation tropicale. Très à l écart de la ville, idéal pour décompresser des journées de visite et pour les amoureux de la nature. Très au calme. Le père et la fille vous accueillent avec attention , le dîner est correct avec des produits de la ferme. Le petit déjeuner est décevant car un peu léger et banal L endroit mériterait quelques travaux de restauration , un endroit un peu cosy pour prendre l'apéro où se relaxer. Le tout est un peu triste le soir ....

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo luogo incantevole. L’ospitalità eccellente, ed è sorprendente anche la piccola cucina con pochissimi piatti che variano quotidianamente in base al prodotto locale. Tutto molto semplice ma irripetibile. Complimenti

Hôtel très agréable, légèrement en retrait de la ville (assez moche elle), mais d’accès très facile (petit chemin en terre à passer, court et très facile). Les hôtes sont très accueillants, les chambres (de type bungalow) confortables, et le repas du soir est bon Allez y sans réserve

Winika Alterra está integrado por un conjunto de cabañas de dimensiones diversas rodeados de jardines bien cuidados. Los propietarios estuvieron presentes todo el tiempo y pendientes de satisfacer y prever nuestras necesidades. Las cabañas son muy monas y funcionales en todos sus aspectos. Winika Alterra está ubicado a las afueras de Palenque, por lo que contar con vehículo mejora la experiencia. Para llegar hay que recorrer un camino de terracería de unos 500 metros. Nos encontramos con el inesperado placer de admirar las luciérnagas, al pasar justo por ese camino en la noche. El restaurante tiene buen sazón y está a disposición de los huéspedes todo el dia. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Winíka Alterra is a small, family owned hotel and resort. The property consists of eleven private cabins. They’re very well maintained and with all the amenities. The staff is very helpful, accommodating, and detailed oriented. All the meals were delicious, fresh, and locally sourced-made from ingredients found at the hotel’s on site farm. (They even make their own chocolate which is used in the duck mole, desserts, or served hot). The beds and bedding are very comfortable, The quiet, jungle environment makes for a restful stay. Our only suggestion would be to invest in entertainment options during rainy days, such as a ping pong table, card games, or family friendly board games.

Amazing! Elena has been wonderful! We were there in low season, so we were the only guests. But she made sure that we got the whole service, the whole day. Great food in the restaurant, good breakfast en personal attention when you need it. The room is great, large and has very comfortable beds. The resort is just what we needed; peaceful, quiet, surrounded by nature and waking up by the sound of howling monkeys and parrots. A perfect place to disconnect and get rest while you sightsee in the area of Palenque during the day. The pool is ecologically filtered: so 0,0 chemicals, they grow their own vegetables, have a little farm with animals and have solar energy. So they really do their best to be environmentally friendly. The track (most people complain about) is a but bumpy indeed. But if you drive slowly there is no problem at all. Thank you Elena and thank you Abel for taking such good care of us! We really felt at home!

Winika is a wonderful, wonderful place. The cabin was gorgeous, spotless, classy. We loved the natural pool, the many iguanas, the streams of ants, the bananas... a near-jungle experience that was the children's favorite stay in a 5-weeks-long trip around México. The food is fine, the transport is easy, and Abel was the best host/driver possible. I learnt so much from our small talk. Cannot be recommended enough, but absolutely not for resort types (a great plus!). We felt really special, in a special place.
