First the good - Excellent service at bar, restaurant, and front desk. Recognized titanium status multiple times, which is nice. Filled all requests for water, coffee, towels, and blankets to cover the bloodstained, disgusting furniture in the room. No complaints about the staff. The views from the patio in our Villa were exceptional and relaxing after golf at TPC. The discount on golf at TPC is great too! Now the bad - The Villas are at least 5 -7 years past their renovate by date. Incredibly dirty. Maid service was horrendous. Hair and dirt everywhere, urine smell, trash on the floor, etc., etc. Someone spilled coffee outside our room and it sat there for 4 days. I've never experienced this level of dirtyness in any Marriott property ever, despite numerous requests for cleaning. The furniture in the room was beat up and seriously stained. We put blankets over everything to sit on it. The restaurant furniture is frayed and stained, as well. We also felt nickel and dimed with the $7.50 upcharge for scrambled eggs on the complimentary breakfast and the $20 fee to park in front of your Villa. Where else were we to park? The resort needs a major renovation. I'm not sure how they retain the Marriott flag. It's a shame, because it could be really nice hotel. If they rebranded as a Fairfield Inn (as the Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas did) to gut the Villas, we'd get it, but it would still be dirty and tired.
Very Good
