We enjoy staying at this hotel. Location, service and rooms were good. The hotel stuff is friendly and at the front desk they speak fluent English. I’ll go back if I visit Panama City again.

Grand with lots of history . Beautiful, very centrally located in old town. Walking distance to restaurants , shops and sights. Very accommodating staff. We had a couple very early tours and departure and the staff arranged a very nice bag breakfast. We ate at the restaurant a couple nights and the meals were excellent. We really felt close to historical Panama, staying in the American Trade Hotel.

This is a nice hotel in Casco Viego that is located close to restaurants, scenic squares, and tourist sites. You can easily walk to the fish market or the Canal Museum. There is also a supermarket across the street. The rooms have a coffee maker and refrigerator. You use a card key, there is free wi-fi, and toiletires are provided. The staff is friendly, helpful and speak English. There is a small outdoor pool and a gym. I would have given the hotel an excellent rating except for the following two issues: 1. There was really no hot water, at most it was warm. 2, I had booked a four night stay at the hotel, but because my flight was delayed as the result of a mechical issue, I was forced to reduce my staff to three nights, but the hotel charged me for the first night since I had given them the proper notice. However, when I have had this issue at other hotels, no penalty was charged since I had kept my booking for the other nights.

This place is amazing. I would recommend this hotel to everyone staying in the Old Town in Panama City. The room was huge, the water pressure was the best we have ever had in a hotel. Staff were outstanding -every staff member including Estetania, Aldahir, Genesis, Mavis and many other. Arturo the doorman was great (please watch the movie with Goldie Hawn Overboard) The pool location and temperature were just right. The hotel was right on the main square and 300 feet away was our Starbucks where we loved all the staff. Our vacation would not have been excellent had it not be for the amazing service and facilities at this hotel. Steve n Mike Toronto

Just one thing to say They have no hot or at least warm water in the rooms (my room n111) Breakfast no buffet ok is a choice but 30' for two eggs is really to much We asked for an adapter for the plugs ,they gave us but it didn't work well and it looked old and unsafe .

Stilvoll und gemütlich! Man hat es geschafft, den Stil der "Amerikanischen Epoche" in die Gegenwart zu holen. Man fühlt sich ein kleines bisschen wie im Film. Bemerkenswert ist die Bibliothek mit gemütlicher Sofaecke. Gepflegt, mit aufmerksamen Personal und einem sehr guten Restaurant wo auch das a la carte Frühstück serviert wird. Konkurriert preislich nicht mit den Neustadthotels. Und das ist auch gut so!

American Trade Hotel in Casco Viejo, Panamá The service at the restaurant in American Trade Hotel was both professional and welcoming. I opted for Eggs Benedict with a twist, substituting the usual bread toast for Panamanian yuca toast, and it was absolutely amazing! They accommodated my request graciously, which was greatly appreciated. The ambiance of the restaurant is stunning, evident even in the provided pictures. Our main reason for visiting was the promise of a Flat White on the menu. However, the coffee fell short of expectations; it leaned more towards a latte, and the flavor was somewhat marred by a hint of burnt taste, surprising for Panama, renowned for its exceptional coffee plantations. Despite this minor setback, the experience overall was well worth it.

Incredible experience. Truly, everything was perfect--we had a cuarto chico, and it was still plenty big for the two of us. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was a great size, and there was a gorgeous view. The pool was intimate and beautifully curated. The whole hotel was beautiful. The cafe was great, and the staff was super kind, patient, and accommodating. I wish we had stayed here longer.

The location is amazing, in the heart of Old Panama, walking distance to restaurants and bar, and close to the downtown area. Beautiful property, very well kept and with good amenities. Nice size rooms, with small bathrooms. Over all a very good hotel.
