The hotel is new and beautiful. I really liked the staff - extremely friendly, smiling, ready to fulfill any of your requests) Very good breakfasts, the restaurant cooks deliciously, not very expensive. The beach is clean. As a result - everything is fine in the hotel, the only negative is ... the ocean, we were there in November, it is impossible to swim because of the strong low tide. Opposite the hotel there is a reef, quite far from the shore, but if you suffer a little, then exciting snorkeling is guaranteed.

It was a wonderful stay, staff was amazing, the breakfast buffet is great. The mall nearby has the Buzz (Bohol Bee Farm) great food and homemade ice cream

Loved every bit of time we spent at Modala. All the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The free photoshoot was also great, my parents loved it!
The breakfast buffet was also great! So many food choices.

It was clean and nice
But the price is too expensive
Breakfast was really delicious and it was really fun to go out and borrow a boat from the diving shop we stayed at
But the swimming pool was probably the dirtiest among all the Bohol resorts

Perfect five star hotel in Panglao. Room, breakfast, different options, complimentary photo session (only one picture free though), beach, location, swimming and snorkeling (even saw some turtles in the water) - all that was spectacular. Some hotels in Panglao have better rating than Modala, but I definitely do recommend this one to stay at least for one night! In particular I liked this one beach more than some on the south of Panglao.

The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, more spacious than ordinary hotels, with complete facilities, a wide variety of breakfast options, a secluded location, exclusive beach, shallow beach for snorkeling, and a shopping mall next to it
