I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandarina Colombo, and overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel's location is convenient, situated in the heart of Colombo, making it easy to explore the city's attractions.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The hotel amenities, including the on-site restaurant and fitness centre, added to the overall convenience of my stay.
One highlight was the impressive view from my room, overlooking the cityscape. It added a pleasant touch to the overall ambience of the hotel. While the decor might not be the most modern, it exuded a classic charm that complemented the overall atmosphere.
The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of options, catering to different tastes. The culinary offerings were satisfying, providing a decent start to the day.
However, it's worth noting that some areas of the hotel might benefit from a bit of updating, as certain furnishings showed signs of wear. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection could be inconsistent at times.

Granbell colombo is the most beautiful city hotel in colombo , It offer really japanese hospitality experience , foods are really tasty , Hotel has most beautiful infinity pool at roof top. That experience is very attractive . Roof top bar is little bit crowded in weekend . But bar staff provide quick service. Also Room has consist with modern features . And Room has bath tab . It is really nice. Overall experience is really worth for money.staff was very friendly. We visited C1 Fort hotel Colombo end March 2023, as a couple. The hotel is located in the center of Colombo, close to the Fort train station and World Trade Center. The location serves as an excellent starting point for exploration of Sri Lanka's biggest city. Modern and tidy reception floor and kind and smiling staff make sure that your needs are attended to quickly. We needed an early check-in and it was no problem to arrange it. The room was very big and featured good AC system. Prices are fair and affordable. Guests (especially smokers) will love this place because it features very big covered rooftop terrace, outfitted with ventilators. Morning cofee or a nightcap with a view to the city you will not forget. Right next to the hotel there is a bar where you can bring your drinks from, and just around the corner there is big souvenir shop (Laksala – State owned gift and souvenir shop) with low prices. If you are starting your Sri Lanka tour from here it may be advisable to buy some souvenirs here, because the same items will be considerably more expensive if you buy them elsewhere around the country. Currency exchange point is conveniently located 20m from the hotel entrance, tuk tuk ride as well. The Fort district with restaurants is 5 min walk from the hotel. When we come back to Colombo, we will certainly come back to stay at this place, there is no better recommendation.

Before the end of the holiday, we still planned to stay in Colombo for one day before leaving, so we still booked this hotel and checked in at ten in the morning. Since the guests had just checked out, we needed to wait for cleaning, so we sat on the side while the staff sent us there. The juice was served, just when the mouth was dry, the juice was like a timely rain. After a while, a manager said that cleaning would take some time and invited us to have a buffet breakfast. We politely declined, after all, it was a bit expensive, and then we went to the mall downstairs to eat. We bought something and just came back. The manager asked us if he could buy us a cup of coffee. We happily accepted it and were very touched at the same time because the wait was caused by our own early check-in, but the hotel tried to save us from the long wait. It's not pleasant to do so much, thank you very much

This was the place we chose to stay for 5 days when Colombo curfew was enforced. For 5 days Bandar was more than helpful, ket everyone happy and things clean. Marino Beach Hotel is in a very convenient location with Marino Shopping Mall directly connected to it. Hotel rooms are very specious, clean and gives nice view of the beach. Breakfast is excellent and it gives a nice outside view from the breakfast area. Staff are very pleasant and ever ready to assist. The Chinese restaurant serves excellent tasty lunches and dinner. We stayed their twice during our last visit to Sri Lanka. We enjoyed our stay very much. All in all, I will recommend this hotel for stay. You will not regret.
