Disadvantages: Hotel facilities are old, rooms are very small, air conditioning is still bad! Hygienic did not look clean. After going out at 11 o'clock in the evening, I locked the door at the hotel door. I waited for more than 10 minutes by the doorbell. No one came! The hotel is very good. The room is quite large, suitable for family travel, there are not many varieties of breakfast, but the taste is not bad. The hotel's swimming pool is quite suitable for children. The lake at the entrance of the hotel is beautiful, the scenery is very good, and it is very comfortable to go out for a walk. The only downside is that it is far from the famous attractions in Switzerland, and Grindwa and Interlaken are still much more beautiful.

I enjoyed my stay at ibis Lugano Paradiso, however the breakfast selection was rather mediocre but in line with the ibis standard. I found that the hotel rates in Lugano dropped quite a bit in the couple days before my arrival but decided to keep my reservation at the ibis Lugano Paradiso due to it’s ideal location. However, given how accessible all of Lugano is, if I were to return I would consider staying elsewhere in the interest of value for money.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per la visita giornaliera del Lago di Lugano e complessivamente ci siamo trovati bene; ottimo parcheggio incluso sotterraneo, camera abbastanza piccola ma pulita e staff professionale. The hotel is well-positioned on a quiet street, just 100 m from the Mount San Salvatore cable car and within easy walking distance from the Paradiso port on the Lugano lake. They seem to have a clever cooling system. Air conditioning works while you're out of the room and when the key is plugged in, it is you who control it. Rooms are clean but the walls are painted in ugly dark colors. Bathroom is efficient but not fully friendly. Breakfasts are decent but not more than that. Just one coffee machine installed in the dining hall. Sometimes you have to wait after 1-2 persons. Reception staff are friendly. The hotel is more geared to short stay business rather than for more demanding touristic stay.

On our way to the Swiss Alps, we stayed here for 3 nights to enjoy Lugano. The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good, and the location was slightly out of town center (which was good) and the dock for ferry service was right down the street. The best was their concierge, Barbara - who got us free passes on local buses, and discounts on other attractions. She gave us great advise of lesser known things to do - and how to get around. All in all, a wonderful stay!

And we booked the terrace room, in the PL floor, lawn, recliner, lake view, sunset... After all, it belongs to the Italian-speaking area, so the staff looks more like a passionate Italian. When checking in, there will be a welcoming welcome drink and a coupon to print the name of the occupant. The blonde glasses sister at the front desk will send us to the room and introduce the hotel facilities and opening hours all the way. At the moment of opening the door, I was shocked. The Hotel is situated in the middle of Paradiso Park, south of Logano, with a splendid view of the town and Lake Lugano. The rooms are nice and spacious with modern furniture and lighting management system, etc. The restaurants consist of a brasserie and a Michelin-level restaurant, which are handled by a service-minded and professional staff. The reception works fine and handles all our requests for boat trips, hiking, trains, and use of electric cars (Smart)/bikes that are a part of the hotel amenities without a separate charge. There is a big garage for cars beneath the hotel, which came in very handy upon our arrival from southern Frace as northern Italy suffered its worst hailstorm in centuries. We were very happy about the spa section, which we used several times.

I have just spent few days over Easter in Bugatt hotel with my family. We loved everything from a very friendly service, beautiful, big and bright room, stunning surroundings to the restaurant experience. It’s a modern, yet with a homely vibe, tranquil place. Just around the corner from a buzz of Lugano, but in a peaceful and glorious location with spectacular views over the lake and the mountains. Restaurant serves great quality local food. Breakfast is absolutely perfect with freshly baked bread and many homemade specialities. My absolute favorite in Ticino.
